Thornmail isn't that bad of an Item. Works well against Nasus, Warwick, Briar etc. It's a must have on Ramus and good on Shen too because of taunt mechanics. But I agree, the healcut mechanic is useless against champions that don't auto attack. Hope they make a defensive healcut Item that works like Morello's apply by hitting an ability.

Don't pick darius lol. Honestly tho you can win against any ranged champ with darius but it's very difficult and requires a lot of hugging tower which is lame. Just counterpick if some loser locks in ranged top
I've been doing it quite a bit. I've been rushing dead man's plate, it gives enough move speed that it makes a massive difference. Blue jungle item and plated boots most of the time, or the ms boots if need be. Then collector for second item
I dislike malphite E for the same reason, this game has very few auto dependent champions anymore, especially in the top lane. Malphite was viable last season, not due to his durability or ability to extend trades against AD(the goal of E), but because his base/early damage was enough to snowball before falling off hard late. I still think the damage system needs overhauled, and I’d be happy if the E was amended to reduce a percentage of total AD for the same duration.
I think its for a better early game w lethal tempo stacked u cant loose trade, but i personally think conq i better for the healing and the later teamfigths, it depens on matchups and playstyle i think
I also think biscuit are not that useful, darius doesnt need that much mana, secondary i usually go determination w bone plat/second wind or sorcery w the mvm speed one wich i dont remeber the name
guys m having a hard time with darius, i am 100k points and still mastery 5, i always get flamed and my team loses games because of me, i tried every guide every video it just doesnn t work, i feel like every champion counters me (help pls)

You can use the "attack champion only" button, for me it was set to Tilde "~", it makes it so that you only hit champions

Malphite is a good one, and KingStyx did a video recently against ranged
if you need a frontline, tahm kench is a good option. he counters ranged champs in lane and can set up ganks using his ult and CC.
