I did a lot of research about 2 years ago on trees that are able to take the Fresno heat and western sunlight. I learned about the OK Redbud and planted one in my front yard. It is a beautiful tree. We planted another one in our backyard. I love the color and the look of the tree.
So good. You could do more on this subject. There’s a whole slew of these redbuds out there. I love how you describe the differences of the weaker leaf colors. ❤
I watched another RUclipsr from California and he was showing his wistaria starting to bloom. And here you are showing your redbud . Here in North Georgia we're about 3 weeks ahead of yall. Wisteria and redbud has bloomed and gone already.. It's crazy, I would figure y'all would be ahead of us lol
I love the Redbuds! Thank you for sharing all this info. It is super helpful! I have a couple small Eastern Redbuds that I’ve collected from seed off the ground from a tree in my town and can’t wait to have them flower in the coming years!
I have several Eastern Redbuds. They are flat out beautiful. This includes Carolina Sweetheart, Flamethrower, Golden Falls, and Ruby Falls. They are in my back garden, which is eastern exposure, so they get early morning to noon sun and mid to late day shade and do very well. They do need that protection in hot climates like Texas.
@JohnandBobs It is one that is on my list. It is absolutely electric with its bright yellow and bright chartreuse green leaves. It would go beautifully next to Merlot or Ruby Falls.

Thank you for another great video. Are you a landscape architect? I can’t find info on your design business if so. Thank you!
