SPOILERS Long story short in the comics Imra is manipulating with her powers the members of the legion and at some point Mon el finds out and gets back to Kara.So I hope that the writers will follow the original storyline,at that part at least.

Sure thing, indeed that's ideal... think about it in this show's regard: she was able to convince him by influence to redirect his lifestyle from an abusive user of people into a true man, and he was spot on that he had to avoid looking at her with romantic thoughts, as that'd be adultery on his part, should he consent to them it'd be that, that is. This is a wonderful video, believe me, and I like it a lot, considering what they do about that temptation overall. These characters solved that temptation in the scenes in this video very well indeed- as far as figuring out a solution to these temptations of the heart they're dealing with, and I can safely say she's the first girl he actually loved, the rest of his girlfriends before he met her he used, but didn't love at all, and was thus an establishment jerk at his core, but thanks to how his now former girlfriend dealt with that, he left it behind and assumed true manhood. Real manhood is far from sexually using and exploiting young women, that's not manhood at all, that's being a disgrace to one's gender (anatomy, especially reproductive anatomy); real masculinity is found in men acting as men ought to act- granted, if a guy has no male rolemodel, that demand can be completely confusing overall, and that's a whole different plague on society these days, as well as especially his social class. About why he hid his past from her, I don't doubt judging from her remarks she'd have tried to murder him, considering his situation, and besides, beyond him, he did care about her overall; and an equal is a true prize to hold on to, so why would he wisely give it up if he didn't have to, pray tell? Granted, lying to her from the get-go wasn't a good idea at all, but considering her apparent hatred of his society, really what's the safe way to react to that, if he knows about that, besides, *he hates himself* for his using of others, he was disgusted by his acting up so much so that he wanted to run away from that lifestyle- and the establishment's lifestyle really is revolting, come to think of it. Now that begs me to consider: what if he wound up adopted into *my* family, how'd I react to suddenly having a stepbrother from that echelon of society? Granted, the idea of an adopted sibling would be exceptionally pleasing to me, but also, I'd *have* to get rid of my class-based hatred of his social class in particular, or else there'd be major fights between us! And knowing my thought processes, that'd not be pleasant at all to me... thank you for jogging my imagination on this behavioral matter, for which I'm immesurably grateful to you, and to the writers of that show too, come to think of it, as well as the comics and stories involved.
