I'm discovering Myakovsky bit by bit, and this is really a astonishing work, very Brahmsian in spirit I think and a huge undertaking for the quartet, which plays it excellent btw. Thank you for sharing.

My admiration for Myaskovsky could never fade, I will admit not all his music does the same amount to me, but when it hits home, it really hits.

This quartet is pretty much a symphony without the orchestra
