i use an xp deus minelabs and garrets are good i wouldnt recommend a simplex stay clear of that but a 400I or a mine lab or even xp orx the cheaper the machine the less inches on the ground you get the cheaper the machine no machine guarantees u fine lots of hunting and following history work out what u want it for field metal detecting or beach some garrets aren't compatible with beaches no good for beach metal detecting
