For me any time I feel that I just push my self to go out there and when I am out there I quiet quickly realize the beauty of it all and how fortunate I am to be able to experience and enjoy the moment, the photo comes with the moment. You have a really good eye for great compositions. Keep up the great work.
I understand the feeling of loss when the creative spirit deserts you. In over 50 years of amateur photography it has deserted me a number of times, but, it always returns at some point Its normal, I have come to believe. One can have the creative high but the lows are bound to come at some point. Part of the ebb and flow of life. Sometimes it is difficult to fathom, life appears to otherwise be going well. At other times it comes when their are personal issues to resolve, and perhaps the message is, sort those problems out first then I will came back to you . Currently you are doing the right thing taking it in bite size chunks to keep the hobby ticking over. I am in good form at the moment but I have learned not to take it for granted. Rather its learning to live with the natural ebb and flow of life. Currently I am reading The Creative Act: A Way of Being by Rick Rubin. an excellent book that is structered to make it an easy read. Good luck for the present and future.
