Our grandmothers (although didn't have a chance to go to school) were way ahead of their times. What a befitting reply she gave to their act of incitement. So brave, yet so well-reasoned, such fighters were our grandmothers...❤️❤️
This gave me literal goosebumps. Jai Bhim 💙

This video is so emotional n empowering ,,,, in Tamil Nadu also every year a large gathering takes to remember (Immanuel sekaran) anti caste activist ,,,, but sadly that event is marked by drunk men behaving very badly , I wish they also behave responsbily like this

Thankyou so much Tejaswi, Dipankar bhai, Aniket,Sumedh and Siddhartha for bringing out this fantastic video. Very heartening and emotional. The spirit of the people depicted in the video is matchless. Also thanks to those who worked to bring out the subtitles which made non Marathi speaking folks like myself to get more connected to this video.
Jai bhim💙
My thoughts exactly.
This is absolutely brilliant! Thank you Tejaswini and everyone for making this!
Jay Bhim 💙💙💙🙏🙏🙏🙏 , thanks guys! It's really informative
Superb...One suggestion is to have English subtitles for non Hindi/Marathi audiences..
Look for "CC" sign in the options. For closed captioning. You will then see the subtitles in English for the Marathi/Hindi lines

"HEENA"YANA means HEEN right?? Mahayanas are real Buddhists. :)
As a practicing Hindu i find this documentary highly objectionable because it tends to hurt my feelings by abusing my gods. This is not the way how you do it.
As a practicing Hindu, I find my society highly objectionable because it tends to opress my fellow humans who work for all of us. This is not how you run a religion, by ill treating the working class.
fault lines exist everywhere. But the question is whether a society is willing to reform itself. Curse the society but not the gods. If you curse someone's god, you would be paid back with interest included.
@@samay4596 In other religions, inequality is practiced but not mentioned in their books, other gods don't preach inequality on the basis of birth. It is only the Hindu gods and texts which explains how people should be treated with inequality. We should surely reform Hinduism, but it only starts with the acceptance and critique of our own Gods' shortcomings.
@@vishalmanokaran7034no, the god hasn't. If the god had preached inequality, he hadn't blessed the people across varnas. God is worshipped in every Varna's home. He grants wishes and blesses everyone irrespective of one's identity based on Bhakti. Valmiki became the greatest of all while the Ravana became the worst of all despite being a Brahmin based on Karma.
The moment you will curse my god, you would be meted with physical violence and rightly so. There is a difference between calling there is no god and cursing them. You can proudly say you don't believe in gods but to abuse them would have severe consequences and rightly so.
@@samay4596 Manusmriti says that if a brahman murdered someone, the punishment is to shave his forearm hair. But if a lower caste person murdered someone their punishment is death. There are so many unequal laws in Manusmriti and this is what indian kings have been following for more than 2000 years. You can say these are unjust laws made by humans. But what makes them follow this? It's their unquestioning loyalty towards their God.
They think this is what God wants us to do. As long as people think that way, nothing will change. You have to break that unquestionable loyalty.
If something is wrong, even if a God really did say that, it is wrong and we shouldn't do that injustice to other humans. People like Ambedkar don't gain anything by mocking the gods. They are only breaking the false image that everything written in the books are not right.
