Some dude on here called this a few weeks ago and everyone lit his ass up. Ultimately, he was right whether his reasoning was right or not. He claimed WN was gone due to frustration with lack of playing time.
when you’re a top 20 recruit and have to redshirt that’s not a good sign. Especially with injuries that were had at the position. Hopefully he’s using the NIL as leverage and comes back but
Line was sub-Optimal as an understatement right about the time this young man was needed. Got dropped on Depth/ temp Benched for REASONS. Reasons, yeah? It's a TEAM effort, Sport. You got the Bag on the way in Don't let it slow you down on the way to Greener Pasture$. Good luck out there, True Son. MIZ
Sucks to lose WN. Drink plays True Fr. WN couldn't get on the field while others did. Huge ceiling, & you have to develop guys on the line. Sucks to lose him. Also think he's better in a 4-3, & 4-2-5 v squeezing him into a 3-3-5(which I hate). Sucks.
I read (not here) that the kid was late for several practices and also actually missed a flight to a road game. Any coach worth his salt wouldn't stand for that. Saban probably would've pulled his scholarship.
Nwaneri wasn't good and it's time to face the facts. He was soft, lazy, and did not have the dawg in him to ever be a great player. He did NOTHING this season. That was no fluke. He might be a decent player at a mid major school but will never do anything at the power 5 level. Someone is gonna get screwed by overpaying for him. He is undoubtedly a bum. I could even see him stepping away from college football in the next 2 years
@benjifranklin952 Are you just saying that bc you're not happy about it or did you read that somewhere? Do have some inside info? He seemed like a quiet, down to business kind of guy to me. I think it might be scheme fit.
@@JMFBizzleas this has developed, word has seeped out that he’s been late to team events regularly and not necessarily as invested as the other players. But I’d take that with a grain of salt considering some people are just looking for a reason to want him to leave
No, it doesn't sting. Mizzou has won 11 games prior to him joining the team, they won 9 with him only barely appearing in 4 games. So essentially, over the past two years, Mizzou has won 20 games with zero contribution from him. Listen closely. HE. WON'T. BE. MISSED. The portal giveth and the portal taketh away. The fact that he couldn't beat out the guys in front of him, speaks volumes.
Best of luck to him hopefully if he received any NIL money he will have to return that money back to the MIZZOU. Not sure if there is any contracts sign prior to giving him all that money. I believe a lot has to do with him not being able to play as a fresh man he will most likely go somewhere where he starts. So now when OU fans were saying he will transfer after one year everyone including me said that will not happened now we all have to eat dirt LOL.
if his production is the same as MIZZOU this year you can have him. Like John said his high school coach got a job with Nebraska he will definitely go there
well I am not sure yet will have to see. this year he did not see the field. I am assuming he was not ready We will have to see if he makes the transition this year then we can determine
@Drollpanther you have no idea whether that will be true or not. He was #5 on DE chart. Kid was a project and doesn't have the work ethic to beat out the guys in front of him.
I think college football is in an odd place that needs to get fixed. Seems semi pro with NIL. Wondering if some kind of “contract” needs to occur like the pros. Otherwise seems culturally we are reinforcing young people not to keep their word, grass always greener on the other side, only money talks. Would be tough to be a football coach today - constant carousel of talent in / out.
Does this news suck, absolutely. Would it be great if he stayed, yes. However, this is the era of college sports that we live in. We can't be happy when it works for us and not expect it to not go the other way. The transfer portal giveth and the transfer portal giveth away. There could be many reasons why Will wants to transfer. Could be b/c he does want a similiar deal to Freshman All American Dylan Stewart (which if thats the case, I dont blame Mizzou for not wanting to pay that for a guy who is still raw in terms of ability). It could be b/c of the playing time since we are kind of full at edge, and it is currently also a good thing to have talent on hand). Or it could be b/c Nebraska just hired his HS coach to be on their staff. Who knows. But as a fan base, we definitely should act classy about it no matter the reasons behind it. I hope Will is the best if he does transfer, and let's not send him death threats or be overall toxic as hell (looking at you OU fans).

They lit me up when I said that the previous AD was fighting with the BOC. People don't like it when you tell it like it is.
People usually don't come to RUclips comments to admit when they were wrong.
Transfer portal should not open until after bowl games.
That would probably be for the best.

If he wants to quit on the Tigers he can go. Luther never did. The kid from Cocoa Florida will take his spot.

So we will take him. #GBR 🎈🎈🎈
Every player, no matter their star-rating and potential, has to earn their playing time.
Lol. He’s going to earn time playing on Sundays let alone at Mizzou.
Could the power 4 get together and schedule games against each other in the middle of the season? Maybe 2 of the games and just mix it up every year?

That's a bit extreme. lol. I get you don't like him. I think he's really talented.
Why do you think WN is lazy? Why do you think he's soft?
@ You will see soon

Well it happens we just move on Good luck to the young man
He was wearing an Oklahoma hat after he said Missouri. No character. No brother for the brotherhood there. Good riddance.

Let’s go after Maalik Murphy
It almost seems like he only came to Mizzou for the money..
Is it money if not money what is it not playing maybe
Its a chess game you win some an lose some
Indeed.
Headed to Tennessee
I'm guessing Nebraska.
if his production is the same as MIZZOU this year you can have him. Like John said his high school coach got a job with Nebraska he will definitely go there
To do what? Visit Gatlinburg? Pigeon Forge? Because he ain't going there for football. He'll go full stupid and follow his high school coach to NU.
Big loss going forward. everyone acting like its not
With the portal he can be replaced. It’s a tough loss but it’s not program breaking
well I am not sure yet will have to see. this year he did not see the field. I am assuming he was not ready We will have to see if he makes the transition this year then we can determine

Contracts seem inevitable on some level.
LSU is probably poaching again, Kelly has made it his mission to bully Mizzou just because he can.
Tennessee
LSU got one guy from Mizzou three years ago and a defensive coordinator it already isn't that thrilled with.
@@LockedOnMizzou Hope Blake Baker's wife is happy, because her husband is already on track to be fired.
@@Todzilla98 Keep dreaming hillbilly. He's headed to NU.

Definitely keep it classy.
They can’t loose this guy
lose?
Why? What impact did he have? I'll answer it for you: NONE. He won't be missed.
He will be a Duck soon. Lanning will take him where Missouri never could have with this Ducks B1G 10 style of play.
Wrong. He's following his high school football coach to NU. Keep dreaming.
