Only the oldest Barbadians remember the outrage, destruction and deaths of the Barbados riots in 1937. A restless push for workers rights led to unimaginable events, sparked by the now national hero Clement Payne.

Cool story, however unfortunately many of the photographs or incorrect. The one of Clement Payne is right, however most or all of the photographs of rioting are from elsewhere, like South Africa or London (as you can probably see from the fact they have much more modern clothing and cars than 1937)
