I still find weird Listening Solaria singing in Japanese so perfectly, perhaps because how Vocaloid users used to make English vb sing in Japanese and you could listen to their accent. I like how SynthV changed that and now they are all multi language.

She does have a light accent, but she sounds more like a Native English speaker who's okay at singing in Japanese than just English phonemes being shoehorned into Japanese.

We actually made vocaloids this realistic that can sing in so many languages. Im so happy to be alive for this. We made it, guys!
I'll always love the sound of miku's voice since she's so close to my heart, but solaria is an incredible powerhouse of a voicebank and I'm excited to see what else can be done using her in the future. That whisper at the start is incredible!
Honestly, the AI mode does a lot of the work for you. You can adjust tension and breathiness if you'd like but mainly just switch the vocal modes and adjust the vibrato.
You can immediately see that the song was designed for a high-pitched voice. Realism isn't enough. In fact, realism doesn't even mean anything either way. It won't dictate how well a song or cover will turn out. Sometimes the voice needs to fit the song. And Solaria just sounds too old. On some of the higher-end notes, you can even hear her glitch (because she wasn't designed for those pitches).
