    What size gloves are best for pad work like this?

    Why does he "chicken wing" his arms out every time he throws a cross? I know he's a professional and all, I'm just trying to know the logic behind it. I've always been taught to throw the cross straight out and using the torque from your lower body towards your arms to generate power...

    • @RDFR-vl2my
      @RDFR-vl2my 4 года назад +2

      I think it's the thai style, the elbows flair out and since they are already like that normally, the cross just comes from there. So no telegraphing

    • @SiamBoxing
      @SiamBoxing  4 года назад +2

      Your not wrong for doing it like that, this style is good to change it up and throw and elbow it disguises the move also depending on the person it might be optimal position for them to kick when they throw the arm. Its down to the individual but look when he throws elbows too.

    Why do muay thai fighters flare their elbows out when they throw the right cross but in boxing they teach you not to?

    • @SiamBoxing
      @SiamBoxing  4 года назад

      they don't all do that but sometime you can transition to maybe an elbow better. this guy is a professional boxer to
