I think I would make an attachment for the wheel loader, looks like a bucket but just big enough to scape out the bunks . Little brain work and you can figure it out !! Thx for the video !
When you built the new grain mill, you mentioned you would be selling milled grain to the local farmers. How has that business worked out? Has the business grown as much as you had hoped? Love the channel and how your family all work together to make the farm produce more.
Hey Jan, could you maybe make a video how the farm was before you guys started building the new barn? I am curious how your old looked like and how you guys held the cows.
Your Dad is a fortunate man having such a young capable son to be the farm boss. Or at least the mini boss. Able to handle anything on the farm and get none of the credit. However your fans know who does the work.. Keep up the good work Jan!!
You are correct, he does do a lot of work on the farm but so does the boss and the boss's wife. The boss doesn't carry around the camera and film his days of work. It is enjoyable to see him every now and then though.
Hi there Jan, great video once again keep the videos coming. And in one of the near future (this winter) showing emptying your boots full of snow if they are full.
Boy, that was a nice winters day. You really have a nice dairy. Nice lay out. Thanks for the video. I know that your Thanks giving was last month I believe, but our thanksgiving is in a couple of days and I just want you to know that i am going to eat some in your honor.............
Living on Southern Vancouver Island does not seem so bad right now. We rarely get snow. I left Ontario to get away from that crap. Enjoy, and stay safe.
I gotta admit when I saw all that snow Tuesday morning one of my first thoughts was they will be shovelling feed bunks a lot earlier than they were expecting. Then I went out and moved snow for two hours!😮
Try cutting footage a snow shovel the size of the bunk it should help. You all need to get long trailer with high sides and that way you can put everything your shoveling out of the pens in and then make 1 or 2 trips to the pile or back instead of just a Buckley, also when cleaning out the calf barns and maternity and special needs. It would make it less trips and save alot on gas and you would go faster. As much as you do you could invest in one it would be worth it even use it to get sand !
I know you said you feed high moisture in the barn for the milkers, do you also feed high moisture out in the lot? Would doing a dryer mix make it any easyer to clean the bunks when frozen?
A question I have been wanting to ask, why don't you haul your pen pack manure and manure from the pens during the winter? When I was a dairy farmer in Wisconsin, we had to clean the barn each day and we would haul and spread it on the field each day. Could you address this in as future video?
Excellent Job!
Shout out to Miriam such a great job with that gate but we need to see more of you! 🎉

Awesome video. Thank you and have a great Thanksgiving
I believe they celebrate a month before us in America.
I know snow is a pain, but like manure, snow will help your crops grow next summer.
Are those cows there playing ring-around-the-rosy with that straw bale? That was funny. They do seem to like that new straw!
Build a roof above the feed alley in the coral and in the back for the animals to escape the freezing snow and than that will work much better
Greetings from Poland Jan✌️🏅
All good!
We did enjoy. Stay warm safe enjoy hot chocolate and good movie.
Nice bit of snow you have there

I would be telling my dad , you get your back end, out here and start cleaning this stuff . 😂😂😂😂
….id pay to see that
🇺🇸🇨🇱
That would probably go over like passing gas on a wooden pew in church during prayer.
Another awesome video Jan always enjoyable to watch
Looking forward to the next one
Best wishes from Ireland 🇨🇮
I was just watching your Q&A a lot of the things you would like to have come true.
A new feed Mill your own ford raptor
Love the intro
You guys need one of those bunk sweepers that go on the back of a tractor or on the skid loader
Don’t mess that fancy flannel shirt! Great video as always!
👌 Thanks! 😊 ( N.G. Indiana, Ind. )
Good job
I'd come and help, but I'm a Hawaiian boy, and I would freeze my Laho's there. Stay warm Bruh🤙🏼🤙🏼
Great video brother from the imperial county ca 🇺🇲🇺🇲🥶🥶🥶
Great Video!
What about a snow blower for the bunk?
Another great video
Good video.

❤ from Norway
Those cows were in really deep shlt!
Great content
Impressive facility! What's the headcount in your farm?

2 seasons, Winter and Summer
Are there plans to upgrade silage cutter or other equipment to free up some field hours with the extra land and extra forage you are putting up.
Put a roof over it 😂
🇨🇦👍
You can send it to the US I won't a white Christmas
Are those your bales out in the field in your drone shots? I thought you said you were done doing that.
Can’t we put Miriam in a warm truck while she waits? Thanks
One question, why you keep the cows outside in winter time?? You do not have room inside the barn:
They don't have barn space so they have to keep them outside
Only the cows that are milking or ready to calve get to be inside, they would need 5 times the barn space to house them all.
👍👌❤️🇨🇦
I mean, you are a family of 5 people. How many full time employees do you manage?
Ahh come on kid it's 2024 😅 don't be killing yourself shoveling.. mini digger
LOL 🤦 he'll probably live longer because he's not afraid of a little manual labor!
Shoveling bunks is actually stupid!!!! Gonna have to unsubscribe. With today’s technology to do what you’re doing is dumb as hell!!’
Easily upset aren't you?
You can't be serious 😂😂
Good bye!
No please don’t go 😂
They need your expertise on how to clean the bunkers and the other 1000 things it takes to run a successful dairy business. 😊
LOL 🤣🤣 some people are so lazy they can't bear to even watch a little manual labor! 🤦
Thought you had a bale shredder for the outside Corrales
Love the intro
