I just came back from Bible camp about 2 weeks ago and my youth group was reading in the book of Nahum but I couldn’t find it so I kept flipping through my Bible and as I was looking the book of Joel stood out to me, Joel uses locust as a metaphor for Gods judgment and basically the end times, just as I asked God why he would bring me to the book of Joel this song came on and the part that I heard clearly was “I’m living for the world to see nobody but Jesus”. Y’all Jesus is coming back very soon and his people are not ready, we need to ready them and inform them because we are living for people to see Jesus and he will come back like a thief in the night so there’s no time for breaks. Guys god judgement is nothing to play about I fell into sin a couple months ago and I went to sleep that night and had a dream, I was having a bad day in that dream and everyone had let me down, I crawled on top of a car and screamed at the sky “God do you love me?” And when I got no answer, felt no stir or seen any signs I felt a great sadness come over me and all I can explain it as or compare it to is that feeling of depression, that feeling of being useless, literal emptiness. I just broke down and cried because it felt like God was the only thing I had left in that dream and I had just lost him, then I woke up and I was sweating, I was shaken and I was breathing rapidly. I believe that God wanted to show me what it is like to live life without him and that IS how it was gonna be if I kept sinning, guys we have to pull through, God is getting tired of waiting.
It’s not that god leaves you if you keep sinning it’s that if you keep on willingly sinning without an effort to stop you have not been changed by Christ yet and do not have a proper relationship with Christ yet and he is waiting for you to repent which means walk away for your sins and turn to him and Christ is patient but one day it will be too late so it best to find that true relationship with Christ as soon as you can and when you take the relationship with Christ you will be changed and feel repentant and you will be forgiven of all of your sins past present and future by accepting his forgiveness and salvation and more in that relationship with him. If you mess up every now and then and sin it happens we all do but when Christ changes you and you have a relationship with him you will put in an effort to do better and you will turn to Christ and turn away from your sins knowing that he has forgiven you.
And I’m not saying that you don’t have a proper relationship with Jesus I’m just telling how a relationship with Jesus is and how reputable is Turing to Jesus away from your sins and how Torrance is required and forgiveness is a gift that Jesus gives to you that is accepted
Thats my prayer that everyone is seeking Jesus because there is nobody but Jesus ❤
