This needs to be officially released on an album and on all streaming platforms asap. Also, one of my all time favourite Dre beats. Only a handful are better IMO !!
Facts. Detox was originally conceived from around 2003ish when 50 blew up, Em was peaking on top, but didn't become a serious project until around 2005 when Game and others on Shady Records were running the hip-hop industry together under Dre's banner. Obviously, the whole Detox thing didn't pan out, Dre was understandably distracted by Em's return to music to produce his albums, he gave away key beats like In da Club to 50, among others, and spent his efforts producing for everyone else. We still got Compton in 2015, still one of the most criminally overlooked banger hip-hop records ever, and maybe we'll be blessed to get a better listen to the Detox sessions going from 2003 to 2013 since so many leaks I privately heard were absolute fire.
