Mr. Raghavan stands out as a prominent economist across various platforms in India, and The Print is fortunate to feature such a remarkable talent. I envision him at the helm of an independent political economy channel that thoroughly explores the intricacies of India's political economy, and potentially extends its focus to global issues as well.

Would be great if Sharad hosts a podcast with top economists - doesn't have to be frequent but maybe on a quarterly or bi-yearly basis. And also if there is a segment where you guys take questions from the audience (online/offline). Just sharing some ideas :)

It's time for RBI to lower repo rates. And government should focus on farming modernization.

@vampyrkiller inflation rate is high because of vegetables. And mostly in other countries repo rate get decided by looking at core inflation which excludes food and fuel prices.

I disagree about welfare cuts .direct transfer helps prop up demand and infact most countries have much larger welfare package

Macro level discussion will not help change the economy. Micro market analysis will be a better one to draw inferences n suggest remedial measures

Please reduce electricity, petrol & diesel price. No benefit to middle class till now. Govt is only for upper class, decrease in car sale is the best symbol of middle class is not getting enough money. Rich become super rich and poor become super poor.
