My son gave me this knife for Christmas. I absolutely love it. The quality for the price is fantastic. I highly recommend this Canoe for anyone who likes the Canoe pattern. Thanks TK. That one is definitely a winner.
I think all of the sawcut Queen knives are pretty good looking, but the canoe is definitely my favorite of all of them. Thanks for showing it off, buddy!
I just picked one of these up Tk. Great buy! I'm thinking of giving it to my dad --if he'll take it. Just a nice, useful size that slips right into the pocket. You certainly can't complain for the price.
Really like the chunky main blade on Canoe's, that one looks like a good whittler but I had several weak backsprings when first trying the pattern and haven't bought one since. No use having a whittler with a weak backspring. These Queens are a good price on Heinnies too.
I got one of those recently and I love the look and feel of it. Mine has a pretty swampy opening though. No snap on the open. Hopefully I just need to clean it out a bit. Thanks for all the reviews TK.
Hey John , enjoyed the review. I have to say I love the Queen sawcut bone series and have sveral examples out of the range , along with a few of the abalone and black pearl ones also. I understand that they 're basically Roughies , but they seem a bit different to me. I really rate them. In the U K that knife is about 23 pounds , which I think is superb value for money.Anyway take care now , A T B Tony.🐴🏴
Great example of Canoe pattern at very reasonable price. I have each of the Canoe available by Queen! I like them over the fancier RR offerings. The Saw cut bone is heads and shoulders better. Have the Whittled and a Stock man is up next! Can not go wrong with the Queen traditional patterns, I do believe😉 Thank you for your insight on this model.
They do look nice. Would you say John, that Queen is better or even quality on the fit and finish as RR's? There seems to be a good QC on Queen knives. Thank you John.
I am a fan of this knife. Very good review on an excellent value amber bone canoe pattern knife. Thank you.
Thanks very much, Glen.

A very kind gift for Dad. It really is a winner, Dean.
A very nice canoe, well done scales, and blades well hidden when closed, thanks for sharing, TK.
Yes the tangs are well hidden inside the bolster. Job well done. A proper Canoe.
I think all of the sawcut Queen knives are pretty good looking, but the canoe is definitely my favorite of all of them. Thanks for showing it off, buddy!
They do all look really good. The Canoe with its smooth profile is done very well, a fine choice, David.
Favorite knife Chanel
Thanks so much Yung!
Beautiful knife! Love that color! Nice pattern!!
A great series of knives. If there's a pattern in the series that you like, I'd go for it.
I just picked one of these up Tk. Great buy! I'm thinking of giving it to my dad --if he'll take it. Just a nice, useful size that slips right into the pocket. You certainly can't complain for the price.
Nice going Ed, I think he'll find he really enjoys it.
Great review TK!!! I love the scales on these!! Great knife for the price point!! Thanks for sharing!!
It's a great series of knives. Highly recommend, Jer.
Perfect pocket knife for the UK I like the Sawcut Bone series very much.
It's beautifully produced. Difficult to understand how this can be done so well, for so little.
Such a excellent pattern with the canoe bolsters shoulder covering the blades
It makes for a nice profile. All canoes should do this.
Nice looking bone,love it.Thanks John
It's terrific handle material, Richard. A great series.
Dude! That is a gorgeous knife… wherever it’s made!👊🏻💯
Glad you like it, H4H. A great series. Thanks for having a look.
Beautiful handles! Make a great gift or first knife too. Be well TK!
Thanks Ed. I think these are some the best series of knives to come from SMKW.
Hey TK great review I love the sawcut bone series by Queen and that's a heck of a deal you got at Chicago Knife Works Cheers
I'm a big admirer of it as well. It gets top marks from me for value and the quality of finish.
Gotta let you know. that you were the one to turn me on to Chicago knife works. Thank you very much. And Keep up the great reviews!
You're welcome, Tiger. Sometimes they have the best prices and that's the case with this one.
Love this whole series. I agree the best bang for buck in traditional knife market. My favorite is the peanut pattern
That's a nice peanut in this series. I enjoy that one as well. Thanks, Travis.
Excellent Review John. These are great knives. I have the peanut, though it has some issues I still like it.
The series as a whole has been really good IMO. Never flawless I suppose.
Really like the chunky main blade on Canoe's, that one looks like a good whittler but I had several weak backsprings when first trying the pattern and haven't bought one since. No use having a whittler with a weak backspring. These Queens are a good price on Heinnies too.
These are adequate I'd say. Not particularly firm but not flimsy either. I'd feel safe using it.
Very knice knife. Thank you for the review!
You betcha, Tiger. Glad you enjoyed it.
Lovely knife. I still need to pick up a new Queen to check out.
This is a really well done series. The sawcut bone belies its price. Thanks Ray.
Good video great pattern!
They did a great job keeping the blade tangs tucked down in. A fine looking knife.
Pretty sweet little knife
Nice review, I just ordered one.
Hope you enjoy it, Mark. Good choice.
I got one of those recently and I love the look and feel of it. Mine has a pretty swampy opening though. No snap on the open. Hopefully I just need to clean it out a bit. Thanks for all the reviews TK.
Good to know Chad, thanks for your feedback on this.
Got to love it!!!
A great series of knives.
Mine has a rough rider tang stamp on the pen blade. Pretty cool.
Yes, you'll find a lot of small variations on the older Rough Ryders. Thanks!
My favourite canoe that I own, and by far the best bone on a budget knife 🫡 thanks TK
Cool. Glad you like this one.The blades on this canoe are very nicely shaped.
I just got the Barlow QN012 and I am very pleased with the fit and finish also. So far, I have been very pleased with the Queen knives.
They've been consistently well done. This sawcut bone series is excellent.
@@ThriftyKaniffy They have been consistent for sure and I am going to order the Big Boy Trapper I saw on Mr Barlow.
I just received the sawcut canoe, it is as nice a thrifty says. However I prefere the flat grind on winterbottom canoe. Both great though.
Glad you're enjoying Marc.
CKW is an awesome vendor!!!
They certainly can be. Thanks LTC.
Does yours have a tiny bit of blade play TK , mine does but I still love the knife ? ❤️
Happy to say It doesn't. Thanks Prop.
@@ThriftyKaniffy It’s such a great knife , I may just order another one . That entire series is a home run 🏃
I think the entire Queen sawcut bone series is the best slip joint knife you can buy for the money
Do you know where I can pick up the warncliff blade up I keep looking for that bugger and it’s always out of stock thanks 😊
Those have dried up like an old ladies handbag, Pete. Can't find them anywhere.
@@ThriftyKaniffy ok shoot thanks
I got one last week from SMKW.

The value is there even at the UK rates IMO. Thanks so much for the feedback, Tony.

On average they seem to be a little better. Not to say they'll all be perfect with either brand.
@@ThriftyKaniffy Perfect is outside my budget, really good for the money will do.
Heck of a carry.
Thanks Rick. LOADS for the money.
It’s a good looking knife, honey bone always looks good
Thanks Randy. I think highly of this series. The bone is so well done.
Nice
Thanks, Dave. 👍
Solid video! Aloha \m/
Glad you enjoyed the review. Greetings.
Had the exact knife four days and the emblem has fallen off and lost!
It happens, were you able to find it? Epoxy is the best thing to keep it on.
@@ThriftyKaniffy no it’s gone.
@@DrDennis Sorry to hear it.
That is a whole lotta knife for short money 👍🏻
I think so too, Craig. Thanks for watching.
@@ThriftyKaniffy 👊🏼👍🏻 Thanks for the content .
