@@salomekiag2896 Demeter could simply keep Persephone away from the spores or make them so they couldn't harm her own daughter. After all, she wanted to use those spores against her enemies and Persephone, for now at least, is not her enemy. I'm pretty sure one of the oldest goddesses would think through details like these
In these kinds of plots, I would expect antagonist's child or loved one would get effected too, and either they surrender, succumb to despair thinking its hopeless before hero fixes everything, or blames the world and goes full nuclear/scorched earth
Yes but also her daughter lives 6 months of the year in the underworld and Demeter could easily keep the spores away from her own daughter since she's the one who controls who gets em n how bad
@@stephenolotu5588 I wanna say Hera cuz she was the Queen of the Goddesses so that should mean she was the strongest but Demeter is no joke herself…maybe in season 3 will get more fights between gods/goddesses
@@stephenolotu5588I’d say Demeter just because in Greek mythology Persephone was one of Zeus’s illegitimate children and she was the one child Hera never dared go after.
@@t-rexcellentreviews1663 at least out of the Blood of Zeus brothers Poseidon and Hestia seem to be the only good Apples so far. Neither of them have wanted more than what they were given, both helped Zeus plan so Heron could bring back order and teach the others a lesson while doing it and overall know where to set the line that should not be crossed. Sad that the others are just as bad as they are good. Things would be quite different if more of the Gods were like them even if they don't care about mortals as nobody ever brings that topic besides the main cast. Now we wait for season 3 and Titanomachy part 2

You can’t outsmart the Goddess of wisdom! 🦉
If any of the other olympians were rly paying attention and care the would have figured out it was Demeter
And nobody says anything about the mortals who are suffering and dying.
Gaia was right to send typhon
They're gods, they can make more humans
That's not the point.
You gotta take care of yourself before trying to take care of others. 🤷♂
@@salomekiag2896 Oh, sure! Because Greek Godzilla will CERTAINLY help us mortals solve this plague problem! 💀
Isn't Demeter's own daughter, Persephone, born out of wedlock too? 💀
Writer are the ultimate gods anything they say goes
It's her daughter, so she's going to be biased for her and not anyone else.

@cathygrandstaff1957 but yet her story was only told about hades n her n demeter n zues who knows what happend before
But Athena wasn't born of wedlock. Zeus was married to her mother long before he married Hera.
it seems that Athena's born out of Zeus' head during his marriage with Hera though 🤣 had she been born earlier, oops
ATHENA! Goddess of War and Wisdom, patron God of Warriors and protector of Heroes, Zeus favored child, right hand woman and war general⚔️🛡🦉📚
Personally I despise Demeter more than Hera.
Same, gotta give them props for making a background goddess from season 1 into such a scheming and despicable villain.

Athena does look a little like Heron from a certain angle.
I love everything about Athenas design except her eye color. One of her epithets is the "grey eyed goddess", so...
Looks grey to me.
