I regret to hear about the inconvenience with the faucet. However, I'm pleased that you were able to find a manual solution. Ours is installed in the guest bathroom, and our primary issue with the faucet is that guests often struggle to operate it. 😊 I am glad Kohler is taking care of you.
nice video. your review saved me from buying a seperate sink drain. ( i didn'nt know a pop up drain came in the box) it truly has everything you will need in the box.
My plumber installed mine almost year ago. It stopped working. I changed batteries. Still not working. I guess I can use it manually at least ( I just learned that ). Kohler is sending me a new one since it’s still under warranty. I have two in the house. Makes me nervous how long these will last but at least I know now I use it manually when batteries stop working
Thank you. Just installed mine. The escutcheon instructions were wrong in the Kohler packet. Round E. for single hole; and oval for 3 hole-not BOTH. Kohler products are awesome IMO.
There is a manual override on the control module. I cannot remember if you turn it clockwise or counterclockwise but you will see it on the main control valve underneath the sink. This will bypass the shut-off valve controlled by the batteries and allow direct flow to the faucet using the knob on the faucet. You will then be able to manually control the flow of water. If you turn the knob on top of the faucet all the way to the right it will shut the entire system down. So, if you're going on vacation and you are afraid it might turn on while you're gone just turn the knob to the right and it will shut the system down.
Pretty straight install, The only problem I have had is guests figuring out how to turn it on and off. Hand movement from the side underneath the faucet is best. Good luck

Your welcome Tom, we have enjoyed our facet. Have a great day.
Liked! Can this be operated manually or is it pure battery/touchless? Thanks.
