This was a song that Jk wrote for the fandom, BTS is celebrating their 11th anniversary and if you look at the chorus it repeats 11 times, but regardless of that Jk told us that the chorus could be very repetitive because he was thinking of doing a house dance since that is the style of that song, but he had to go to SM he didn't have time to do it.
Jungkook was very busy in making of his Golden Album and back to back flights for performances . But still take out the time to make fan song he wrote/produced for fans . Never Let go is biggest debut kpop song in 2024 on Spotify .

Why did Jungkook, who could easily have mixed up the chorus more -- there are shifts --, choose repetition? After listening many times, the repetitious sound does not distract and is impactful. For Jungkook a master of riffs, this chorus is more original and suits dancing. See it as a musical choice, one you may not appreciate, not a deficit.
Not gonna lie, it’ll never be my favorite, but how wonderful he pushed it out for army for Festa when he’d run out of time to record the dance video he’d wanted to accompany it. (And he shared he regretted having shaved his head early…maybe another reason a vibey dance didn’t get made.) Also, maybe most importantly, the 11 NLG chorus line repetitions were for the 11th year anniversary it was celebrating. My only hope is that this doesn’t end up surpassing his other tracks from Golden. JK forever!

HI Regina, I'm sure it was a musical choice, however I still think it's a bit abrasive compared to the rest of the track, but overall it's catchy!
