For my username, the "Tion" part comes from when I was 13 years old and got into W40K. My friends were all making custom characters based on existing space marine characters. The Tion(tee-on) was originally pronounced "Tye-on" ala Kayvaan Shrike (Jetpacks are cool okay). A fucking lifetime later, streamers read my name as Tee-on and I liked that more than the other way so I kept it. I have gone through many random name changes, but the "Tion" is always the main part of it. My current name is because I like coffee. :) tons of it in fact :))

But for (Tye-on) maybe it’s better spelled with an “a” that’s what Xenoblade 3 did.

I came up with it in 2018.

Mine came from a running joke in my D&D campaigns. I accidentally gave 2 different elven NPCs the same last name of Silverwind, so it became a running gag that an unreasonable number of elves were a part of this giant Silverwind family tree.
It's pretty self explanatory lol. Atm it's very accurate because I'm working during the night cos it gets too hot in the day and the sun is a deadly laser. I do forestry work.

During middle school and high school I was really big into Teen Titans fanfiction, specifically Beast Boy and Raven related stories. Like it was all I would spend my time on, just reading a bunch of them during and after school. So much so that I made my user name after their real names (Logan which is Beast Boy's last name, Roth for Raven's alias's last name, and Wyld was the name of an apparition Raven inadvertently created in the later comic series back in 2009) so yeah.
Since its inception, I have been strangely good and downright untouchable when playing as Johnny Cage in the Mortal Kombat games. The Shadow Kick is one of his signature moves.

In middle school through high school me and a bunch of friends wrote a story together that was a space opera with different animals at the helm of various societies, and I wrote the stories for the Orca's and Pigeons. The pigeons were an underclass for the Iguana's, so were considered a part of the Iguana imperial force, so I went by OrcaIguana. A lot has changed as the main friend working on it now is going to college for creative writing, I no longer write stories but instead make in-universe poetry and songs. There's no longer animals, instead being humanoids, but my username has stuck.
In-world music is a world-building mood. I have a post-Soviet inspired setting with a disbanded punk rock band called Anvil (for now).

So back in the day I used to watch a lot of countdown makers on RUclips. They had names like "The Firey Joker" or "The Trees Apprentice" and stuff like that. I thought that was pretty cool and came op with "The Reapers Dragon" both as a reference to TWEWY and because I like dragons. of course the full thing didn't fit as a username for a lot of sites at the time, so I shortened it to just R Dragon.

I was a child born out of wedlock, so i took the nickname to honor the man who stepped up to be my stepdad. He married my mom *after* the deadbeat ran off.
I swapped the letters when i needed to duck censors originally but love it as is now.
So my name is Chloe, and in middle school, I watched several seasons of Doctor Who. Years before that, however, I came up with my own version of the "yo mama" joke, where I said "my face" instead. Then, upon watching Doctor Who and learning of the character known as The Face of Bo, I figured it was kind of a golden opportunity. Too perfect to pass up.
Username origin story! SeerOfTime comes from when I was younger (over a decade ago now) and used to roleplay online with a good friend of mine. He had created this sprawling universe that was loosely based off the Homestuck universe, but was more so his own; seer of time was my class. Because of this, many people assume my name is a Homestuck reference even though I have never been in the fandom at all in my entire life. It's just a RP reference and a name I have never changed since I was a child.

originally it was "gameboyawesome" because i love the gameboy advance and wanted something that abbrieviated to GBA, but when that username was taken on a few sites I had to come up with something new. I wanted to use "gameboyamazing" and then I remembered a line from one of my favorite bits of dialogue from a video game: the scene in Kid Icarus Uprising chapter 7, where Thanatos (formerly Tanatos) reintroduces himself with "Actually, I go by Thanatos now. The 'H' stands for 'Hamaaazinnnng'!" and the rest was history more or less
My name is a mixture of the Japanese words Okaeri which is basically "Welcome home" and Shimasu, which means "To do something" which I didn't actually know at the time. I turned it into Oak so that it would naturally be read in the correct sound, and then just placed it next to Shimasu. Tadaa, I was a weeb XD

For my username - The Cecil comes from FF IV Cecil Harvey (hence the PFP) and the Dedworth comes from an old mobile hidden objects game called Fantastic Beasts: Cases from the Wizarding World. In that game you could enter a first name and you could spin a "name wheel" which would give you a random last name. And the one I liked the best was Dedworth.

Mine's pretty simple to explain, Ashuraman is a character from the anime Kinnikuman and Kinnikuman Nisei. He was evil then became good then became evil again. 666 is also somewhat related since Ashuraman is a Devil Chojin and 666 is supposedly the number of the devil.

Sunayama was my favorite of the minor antagonists in Megaman Battle Network when I was a kid. It roughly means "sand dune."

NachtKaiser (lit. Night Emperor in German) is a nickname I started using about 23 years ago. It's still my username on RUclips, PSN and Steam because I'm too lazy to change it. I used it because edgy 15 years old goth kid.
But I started using ZeichenMK2 for the past 8 years whenever I create a new account (including Twitch), which came from the last name I gave to an OC (hence the mark 2, the OC was the mark 1). I chose Zeichen (signs) based on the song 'Siehst du die Zeichen' by Weissglut. The song translate to 'do you see the signs', which was on the nose after I denied the signs of my trans identity for 30 years 😅
My user name is from a character I made for an old MMO, Asheron's Call, waaaaay back in the day. It just kinda became my go-to gamertag because it's one of the view names I've ever come up with that sounded good, and I HATE coming up with new names.
I listen to ALOT of the Lofi Girl's streams, so much so that i can recognize certain songs and artists when they play. Well, one day, while listening to the lofi stream, I was thinking to myself. "You know what would be a cool name for a lofi artist or album? Nope not today." I am not a lofi artist, nor have I ever made music before, however I liked the name so much that I took it as my username. The end lol
My favorite character class is Paladin (first experienced with Cecil in Final Fantasy 4). So I always seek to master the class when possible, hence MasterPaladin.
Well since you asked, I first decided on my username over 10 years ago in middle school when I first installed and played Clash of Clans. All the guys in class were playing it so I decided to check it out. Since I'd never had a username before (that I can remember) I gave it some thought for a while. I thought to myself "Well I don't wanna just put my actual name cause Alfonso is kinda boring as a username, but I don't wanna completely make up something on the spot". So I spent a good 15 minutes trying to rearrange and replace some of the letters in my name and all of sudden, for no reason at all, I thought of Frodo from the Lord of the Rings. So I added Al- before it to make it closer to my name and went with it. I wasn't on board right away because I'm not even a LOTR fan. Sure I liked the movies, but I'm not crazy about them and I haven't read any of the books. But I really liked it so I chose that one, and it's been my username for everything since then

XxxHawk66 came from 12 year old me trying to come up with the most stereotypical tryhard Xbox Live gamer tag possible, and Shaun La Dee came from my middle school art teacher mispronouncing my name, Chandler, as “Chaunlaude”.

One of the first usernames I ever used online was Sephiroth with an extra -t at the end. Because I was at an age where that seemed like a brilliant way to have an already taken username without adding numbers. >_>
Anyway people commonly shortened it to Seph or Sephy, when at one point someone said I reminded them of a Victini and called me Sephini. Then they changed their username into a combination of a character they named themselves after and a Pokemon, which made me aware I could change my username on this archaic forum where that's not easy to do, I followed their example and the name became my de facto official online and semi-actually original name.
TL;DR It's a combination of Sephiroth FF7 and Victini the Pokemon.

I thought I’d be clever and merge Umbreon with the R Us part of Toys R Us and be like “every one of us has darkness inside of us”. My username is usually a variation of Prometheus, and there isn’t any real crazy explanation behind why I chose it other than I just like the Greek tale of the titan Prometheus. (Doesn’t hurt the name itself is pretty cool)

My username is random. There used to be a futuristic racing game on mobile called AG Drive, and the company that you see when opening up the game is Zorg Entertainment. Back in high school, we were writing a story in English class or something, and my friend asked me what should the name of a futuristic car be. The first thing I thought of was that game and I was just thinking random stuff until I thought of Zorg and I was just like "Zorgot." I don't know why or how I thought of that as a name but yeah, and ever since then like a few weeks later maybe, I kind of liked that name so then I changed all of my usernames to Zorgot pretty much since it was much smaller and neater than a name that was my irl name with numbers on the end that I had since I was 11 lmao.
I was young and wanted my username to sound cool - i think it was supposed to be The Scarred Man of the Nine Hells but mashed together in that early internet naming convention, you can imagine how young I was when I made this lol. But now I actually have a unique username for my stuff that I won't tell because that ain't free real estate.

This isnt my first username, but this one came about, when i was playing a WoW private server with my brother in like 2011, i wanted to make a character i didnt make before, so i settled on a shaman(which use the elements like fire, water etc) then i remembered that the troll race in that race has a jamaican accent, so "the" becomes "da" and "dafire" stuck as a character name, the numbers are just youtube doing its thing
So my username has it's origins from the time trials in the old Crash Bandicoot games. Since you can only put three characters into the high score, I put in my initials. I then started using it to name my secondary save files in the Crash games and at some point an s was added as it flowed better
Once I entered my teens my dad made an email address for me and used that as my handle and since then I just stuck with it

Started out as just EpicDragon. I love dragons and at age 12 I overused the word epic and the awesome face meme. I became EpicCandyDragon/EpictheCandyDragon when I rebranded my persona from Minecraft to furry. I made a species of candy dragon because I have a sweet tooth.
Well mostly from the, I guess Russian parody version of the infamous song Macarena, that I in fact did not know how to write.
