Acrobats is especially for tanks its the fastest straight movement in open world. They have a ring for flight and a ring for superspeed so your covered
@@Soul_A.A acrobats has perfect poise. Which is prolly the better optional sc for tanks. Earth doesnt have a viable tank sc, i really cant trust envelop to be there when i need it. I mean it will full me up on health and protect me for a short time but in a pinch it just isnt worth the 50% sc cost vs perfect poise 25%.

unfortunately for every class its pretty much superspeed because he has advantages over every other movement. The only case can be made for acrobatics which is better for nature, and some tanks but that is more a preference.

Im late but obviously superspeed is the best movement because it has a lot of good benefits, but ive been acrobatic since day 1 of playing this game and i still do really good damage.

They shouldn't nerf anything in super speed. They should just boost other movement mode powersets... this helps other powersets that lack damage output.
As a celestial dps and healer i prefer flight because being abel to change your ground is pretty useful to avoid ads for example. I dont care about the attacks

Did you know Swoop takes you out of attack/getting hit slow movement? I loved clipping Quantum Tunneling and Swoop, pulling Houdini's on people. And pretending ads are people sometimes. 😂 Nice for objectives.
Sorry. Forget all that. Speed is the worst actual movement when getting around the game in general than any other one. Speed is #1 worst, then acrobat, then flight and skim which last two are best. With skim being #1 best. Speeds are the first to die in most raids/boss battles. Stuck on the ground getting pummeled lmao.
that is just because the flight and skimming players are exploiting the fact that the devs don't put grounding effects in boss fights. Players aren't supposed to fly above all the tornado's in Gotham City Zoo second boss and be perfectly safe.
@@ObsidianChill No. Every enemy grounds you. It's literally the most annoying bs in the entire game. And yes we should be able to take advantage of flying. It's the whole point! Now, every boss encounter all you see is "grounded" "grounded" "grounded". The game is broken to pure shit.

@@jamescoward110 Its a tradeoff, if you want to be able to fly in the air and be safe from everything on the ground the devs need to create attacks that only hit people flying and then all of them would complain and cry on the forums that those attacks only hit them etc. Grounding is the way of keeping everyone on a level playing field.

Considering how time consuming it is to find a tank through LFG because most people don’t want to tank, there would be even fewer tanks in the game if phase dodge got nerfed. The community would essentially be shooting its self in the foot with talk about nerfing it.
No movement mode power should be way over powered. It's called skill to use and rotate all the other powers as a tank and not rely on phase Dodge. Weapons got a nerf so this needs to be next. There should be 1 advantage at least in each movement mode. Not all the advantages in super speed and the other 2 have nothing special. I agree there are less tanks, less skilled players/DPS and controllers have been dumbed down so the game no longer keeps the interest of many dedicated players because they cater to the noobs.
The use of Phase Dodge, or the lack there of, is not a barometer of skill. It’s simply called choice. PD is only OP when a player is skilled enough to know when and when not to use it. The devs need to address the dwindling tank community before nerfing anything tanks may find useful.

I was just looking for some information on a specific movement type defenses or if it had any, but I ended up getting more than what I asked for, now I can't stand the word SUPERSPEED anymore.

Avoiding attacks with super speed is the easiest thing, as you can quickly move out of the way of almost any attack.
