I like how this deck evolves with every banlist and card release, at some point the adventure package was very important, and halq was part of the combo, also is very customizable, if you like thunder dragons you can add them and also end up with colossus, among other things.
its the best deck if people play it right
You can play this with raidraptors too and end with a raidraptor end board.
true true true pog
U even can combine it with red eyes to make 3 red eyes xyz monster.
And then got it's shins shattered when chaos ruler was banned
Dragon Link became insane going second with the bystial synergy. Deck is nuts
I'm learning the bysteal dlink but it's so haaaaaaard
Or you brick on bystial with no light and dark, such is the fate of a dragon linker
@@nguyentandung42draw chaos space 🤷🏽♂️
I mean it’s not hard to learn the combos it’s harder to apply the combos and work around hts
For real. It's a 5D's combo deck power with all the OPTs of modern card design. It's completely fair but still amazing
Sweet, he's learning the deck that absolutely carries me at locals!
Agree dude, i can relate
It's definitely a good deck if you want to invest into something that will last for years. Don't see it ever getting low tier anytime soon. edit; pretty sure this has been a great deck since 2018, being an offshoot of danger thunder dragons, so it's been 5 years already 😅
@@Rahnonymous wait so this is the modern day BA????
@@Dyleniz more like the modern day infernity. The main deck stays relatively the same plays wise, but the extra deck always seems to age well with them and are crazy flexible.
You aren't playing dragon link you are playing fucking bystials
I LOVE DRAGON LINK, i put a rokket engine in another deck and it works excellently, i also discovered that by running a single copy of stone, vanilla blue eyes, and jet dragon, you can add an activatable jet to your endboard by sending the vanilla bewd off dragon shrine before your actual target
Honestly for me it would be really POG if you continued playing Dragon Link❤
took me so many games to learn the combo paths but to this day i still don't know how to use triple burst lines well, the best thing about this deck is that there is no linearity so u can play through so many interruptions, but at the same time it's really easy to mess up with tracer and pisty locks
I played dragon links for month and im still not insane with it lol.
But i cant get the bystials 💀
what i usually see is link2 > pisty* at diagonal point > make tri, and that works, but how do you get value off that and when do you do that over like, dilingerous or synchros, etc
Triple Burst lines are good for when you can't get Striker, or Quadborrel if you play it, pointing the same zone as Pisty, but unless you can get to Borrelend or OTK you should always aim for Seals + Borreload especially if you managed to setup with the Bystial engine as well.
That way it's safer (Nib gets punished by Seals) and sets you up for the resource grind that is about to come, Seals is also imo just the best card in the deck thanks to Bystials, that shit + Branded Beast and Magna search is equal to 3/4 interruptions + followup or even 4/5 if you already have plays for next turn.
Trishula has the best deckbuilding on Twitch. One of the few people I activly take advice from when building my decks
Was waiting for some dragon link content. Picked it up as my first deck in tcg, enjoying it. Was playing it on master duel before that.
Dragon Link was my first deck too!
Trishula one of the best dlink content creators out there, definitely in the top alongside with professor sunreis and sonnyP, absolutely the kings of dragons
sonnyp drinks bud light dont watch that nigga
Omg I've been wanting to see Coder learn and play Dragon Link. This is gonna be good
2:00 Ain't no way lil bro didn't have Chaos Ruler yet
I always recommend dragon link to beginners lol. When I got back into Yugioh (when MD came out), I wanted to learn a dragon deck and ran pure Rokkets. I had no idea what link, xyz, or synchros even were. When I evolved it into dragon link (copied from public deck search), I felt better about the mechanics. Now I can play practically any type of deck with no issues. I’ve even ran pend versions. It’s really hard to master because there’s endless lines and almost no bottleneck points depending on hand, I love it. I run a red eyes version that I call Red Rokket now. End board is Savage, Borrelend, red hot abyss, and 2 metal flares. Plenty of hand traps and omni negates + 1000 effect damage per activated effect. That’s the best setup I’ve accomplished for a go first. Obviously it plays fine going second too, it’s dragon link at its core
I ran a Blue Rocket version (Blue-Eyes) for a while too. I just prefer effect damage over Harbringer. If I cut Baronne, you can play 3 metal flares (1500 per effect) but you have no space to resolve borrelend
This is based! Dragon link was my first master duel deck and Trish taught me how!
Dragon link is one of if not my favorite deck behind Spyral and Superheavies
As someone who has tried to do red eyes dragon link in the past, my brain definitely blue screened more times than I like to admit.
Still better than going for catalyst field red eyes
8:53 and we never heard the end of the story
Trishula the kind of guy to play dragon link in the synchro festival.
i did

As a massive fan of Dlink im super happy to see you pick this deck up! Probably one of the most insane combo decks with massive amounts of duelest expression as I really dont ever see the same builds in the discords im in for Dlink.
Dragon Link is unironically one of my favourite decks now
Woah this dragon link duelist is pretty nice
Dragon link is the purest yugioh deck IMO. It can use every mechanic (except ritual), and it just makes a ton of material to go into all sorts of bosses.
Just 3 cards and you can feel that there was infinite ways to play that hand. Man I just love Dlinks
Once i wanted to learn a 60 card pile and Dlink was one of the option to learn but I end up picking adamancipator
I once played against a dragon link with Buster Blader. My Blader fusion went up to 11k but still some how it got destroy, clear my board and OTK on the 2nd turn.
Let me guess, you built it at turn 1?
When he Chaos Space'd back the Lubellion instead of the Collapserpent
finally coder learning dragon link
There are two kinds of dragon link players: those who end on a huge board with many interactions and those who end on savage seals pass
god I hate going against this deck with a passion lol. It's literally just unstoppable even with a hand full of handtraps
That's because 90% of the deck is starters/extenders.
@@Rahnonymous I know and it's fking toxic 😭
Agreed. I just scoop.
Love the longer videos
Coder doesn't couch he gets a couch to couch him. 😂
Man Dragon Link is my fav deck, sure It's not as strong as Branded despia.
But it's *DRAGON* after all
As far as I know about how to play dragon link. It's just basically summon as many monster you can. If you don't know what to do just summon Link 5
if you REALLY don't know what to do seals pass
Nah that's cap there's really no definitive way to play Dlink, one thing is for certain tho getting Seals on board before going all out, or at least setting up Branded Beast, is essential for consistency and especially post siding.
This deck has so many combo lines and even the least optimal end board is hard to pass through specially if you're playing a light or dark deck cuz this deck plays every bystial know to man + targeted handtraps for every situation.
Man, i want to learn this deck on Master Duel but is hella expensive
Ngl I'm mad jealous of the Royal Borreload.
I wanna learn this deck on master duel but I gotta wait for them to come back
Yeah no the deck sucks BAD. One interruption and gg
I will learn it too great Video for me as always :) I really like that you try so much Decks
D Link will always be good, because Konami will realease new Dragons, hope Stricker Dragon stays at 3
I wouldn't mind seeing you play an ancient warriors or (dynasty warriors) deck to see your take on it 👍
Dragunity Deck when??
CODER!!!!
ive been learning it too, its so easy to just play for an hour turn 1 and end on nothing because you burned your advantage AND followup extending for no reason
I need more d link I also want to learn the deck
Lol i built dragon links with bystials a few weeks ago before coder made this video so im learning at the same time as coder lol
Man while I love this deck, it seems to attract floo players going first that always magnet macro or d fissure to their hand and that's just gg if i don't draw a spell/trap removal.
Anyone heard about guardragon cataclysm? Maybe it would be useful in dragon decks?
Dlink engine is already too big and Bystials are by far the most versatile supporting engine, so it would unfortunately mess up some of the deck's consistency, bc it would be harder to get to the Bystials as you'd need to play well over 45 cards even.
D Link goat Trish (no glaze)
Omg!! he didn't finish the story of why you never put savage in def!!
They didn't have borreload in the decklist, but had him in the ED during the duel. What did they replace 🤔
they say it in the video that it replaced baronne
@@gogovish okay, i guess i missed that
I'd love to try out Dragon Link, but my brain is already crying when I'm playing Rikka/Sunavalon.
There ain't much hope for me..
Chaos ruler can come back in TCG
why was 6:20 a misplay?
2:45
cl1 striker
cl2 black dragon
is the optimal play you want to protect your striker
unless you already have a wyverburster in your hand, and don't care about collapserpent getting ashed, you almost never
never
NEVER care about protecting your striker dragon.
Doubly so if you haven't normal summoned yet anyway
Well not supized that salid player would have a hard time playing the deck
Nice.
why is your timer 600 seconds?!! That's a lot!
Custom match
NOOOO! Why do you put savage always on attack!
CODER AND DRAGON LINK?! Now i can die in peace
dawg coder single handedly ruined ranked with this dragon link deck💀 everybody i’ve ran into runs it now
Anyone got a decklist
This is dragon link on easy mode bc it’s master duel lol having Pepega ruler is so free
Its not rlly hard, just make link 2 with striker on field plus extra backup
Decklist pls, anyone?
Who is the guy couching coder?
Also go blue
Trishula
D link is very based and I wouldn't call it difficult to play the skill comes in learning how to extend as far as possible
i almost think dragon link is based but borrel end is just bad design. it's a tower with a negate and solos entire boards. you are basically forced to play unfair cards to deal with it and any card that does that i just poor design. idp is pretty much the only good fair card i can think of that deals with borrel end
Why is it called Dragon Link? As far as I can tell it's just a Dragon Pile right?
lots of dragons and lots of link summoning
As a Pile deck enjoyer, I'm calling it Dragon Pile and you can't stop me.
@@davidsoyele7829this is 41 cards so not pile, I play pile
@@mrunoreversecardiamimmune8335 I'll make it pile, I'll just add a bunch of branded shit and darkness metal dragon or something.
@@davidsoyele7829 dragon link pile
Im a dragon link enjoyer so lets fucking go 🫡
Dragon link isn't that complicated.
So it's still complicated, then
