I love and have so much respect for so many teachers I work with. You guys have the hardest jobs. My husband is a special education teacher is a separate resource room for high needs elementary kids. It’s not an easy job but definitely so rewarding ❤️❤️❤️

You can clear spray baskets first. That stops the bleed through

*Any time you have bleed through, spray 2 or 3 coats (letting them dry thoroughly between coats) of Shellac. Then paint and you won't have any bleeding. 😊*

The Fusion paint looks like a little bit goes a long way. I have heard of some mention that they will dip their paint brush in water. Not every time but every so often.
How does it do best for you??
I prefer to mist the brush and/the piece I’m painting just a bit with water as I start. Also I stir the paint well before I get started to make sure it’s well-blended since it has that built-in sealer. 😊. And yes, I absolutely agree that a little bit goes a long way. With darker colors I rarely need more than 1-1.5 coats of paint.
The small basket with the clay sign "SLP" was a Longaberger basket. I couldn't imagine painting any of those baskets.
Yes you are right it was a Longaberger basket from 1985.
Honestly they are worth about 1/4th of what they sold for originally. I was a consultant in the late 90's and have a ton.
I literally have hundreds of Longaberger baskets. Most are now in a pile in our spare room, because they are outdated and don’t fit in my decor anymore. While I love them, I have started painting and redoing some so they are more updated and fit in my decor. Let’s be honest, Longaberger baskets are “collectibles”, they are only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I say enjoy what you have and if it means painting it…paint it!

@@janicebates817 hopefully it was better on the most recent video I posted. I decreased the volume from 10% to 6% and increased my voice from 200% to 400%. Hopefully that allows for a better balancing when you control the volume on your end. Please let me know because I really do appreciate the feedback! ☺️
