- NATO leaders meeting in Washington renewed their support for Ukraine, and said that fighter jets newly promised to the Kyiv will be flying over the country “this summer.” The allies stated that Ukraine’s path toward joining the alliance is “irreversible,” but they have yet to set a time frame.

A country in war can not join NATO. It would be a direct declaration of war from NATO to Russia. Also increasing the chance for nuclear warfare. Most members would never agree to that.
A nation in active warfare cannot join NATO no matter how hard anybody wants it.

I agree with you, if Ukraine falls Poland will step in, Moldova will be in trouble, Estonia could be invaded, Finland is worried as Russia withdrew from the border agreement and under threat and on and on and on it goes.
A proxy war with Russia is not working out. Americans are way too slow, and most Americans don't understand that this could easily become a world war. Germany and France unferstands this. The U.S. aren't good with conflict, they either lose or wait too long to enter because of their 'interests.' They are not to be trusted.
Ukraine should be fast tracked to NATO at this point, or Ukraine will fall. If Ukraine falls we have serious problems that will involve everyone. Meanwhile in the South China Sea.... and in Taiwan..... lol
