Our Dinka Language is about to vaporate in diaspora. Our children born in dispora MUST KNOW DINKA LANGAUGE. My people, the war has scattared us across the globe like seeds. Some will grow but some may get choked by the social establishments based on what country you landed in. Eitber way, we must remain strong. Why? I thoivht it was a joke as Majok Kuol Majok had played on us before coming to Canada. It turned out to be real...Dr. John Garang De Mabior was dead. I had no idea what I did that day but I certainly did not attend classes. It hurts when you lose people you love and hoped they were to make our country better. I lost hope until you woke me up with our beautiful culture! Cultural promotions go on in most cities but i am the only one in my Town, Moncton. I am lost twice, what are the odds, eh?

Because we are South Sudanese. I got no problem because I'm a Canadian so I can say what I want but within reason and self-respect. Stop the sensiless tribal hatred. My father was killed in 1991 by Riek Machar's army and that trigerred a cord in my heart. It was painful but millions of lives have been lost. Million others like me in diaspora want to come home but where? My home is where I'm. If I do come back, can I fit in?
