So, with the whole house system, everyone with the 5th house in Scorpio will have cancer rising! I always thought of astrological placements as a mixed bag of placements, but this is a huge realization for me!
No, I'm Gemini rising 28degree, and Mars in the 1st house, cancer sun in the 2nd. So Mars is inconjunct to scoripo, so I mostly don't see it coming, cuz it's 6Hs away.

Hey I think that was awesome! What grabbed my eye was 5th house scorpio. I am a cancer rising 5th house scorpio. Mars is in my 9th house pisces. One of my creative outlets is making malas and or rosary beads. I am still blown away with astrology.

Hedy Lamarr also helped a whole bunch with todays invention of Wifi. She was taught to be an inventor and really clever girl by her dad but was famous and succumbed to some serious illnesses because of that high profile film life. She really wanted to invent - that's where her heart was but not the money.
I never knew stephen king was a cancer rising with mars in the 1st house. Would explain the scare factor in his career and how fitting it is with his appearance. The two work one in the same. Mine is not writing related, but I do listen to emo music, thats all about being a badass or is really dark and emotional at times when I get in a mood. Depends on the day.

Most people pick me as a Scorpio despite being Cancer Sun and, ofc, Asc. I crush obsessively on Scorpio Actresses. And Scorpio singers are 4 out of 10 my favorites. Fun Fact: Ryan Adams and Bryan Adams are *both* born Nov 5th
Ahh, Crap. Mars in the 4th conjunct Neptune squaring my Cancer ascendant. 4 planets in Scorpio, including the sun, moon, mercury and Saturn, in the 5th, trine the Ascendant. But Crap, that Mars and Neptune sabotaging myself, deluding myself, screwing myself...

Leo rising with Scorpio 5th house and Pluto in 5th house, and Scorpio Jupiter.
Interestingly enough my Mars is in Scorpio but it ever so slightly missed the 5th house and it's in 4th.
You should change the title to mars in the houses.
