THIS SONG AT THAT MOMENT WAS SPECIAL TO ME.. I FELT REAL PAIN ALONG WITH 10,000 OTHERS WHO WERE IN SHOCK...LOOK WHAT HE DID WAS SHITTY.. BUT THE SONG CAME OUT BEAUTIFUL... PLEASE DON'T NOT LIKE IT BECAUSE OF WHAT HE..DID..BECAUSE I HAVE FORGIVEN HIM..ADDICTION DISCRIMINATES NO ONE..ALL IS GOOD THANK YOU...BOB
Actually my dad was the emt that was helping him backstage/on the bus. Apparently it was his house mother(the one who cared for him in rehab) that had passed, he was so emotional that my dad had to give him oxygen backstage, I was upset at first too. But I'd rather him be happy & stop the show early, then to continue & suffer. I want to see him when he's at his angriest, not his saddest. I hope that most of you agree, & if you would, give this comment one like(death punch) to show our support towards Ivan. Long live heavy metal. #FuckKanye

Poor guy , no one in the world can say that FFDP is not dedicated to their fans. They are amazing and some of the most kind hearted people I ever met.

Ivan and 5FDP, hope you come across this..... just wanted to say I haven’t had music help me like 5FDP’s music has since I was a child listening to some early 80’s music. That sir shows you I’ve been missing music in my life for way to many years.

jesus christ, the backlash. He didn't lie on purpose. Ivan Moody relapsed into alcoholism and was drunk off his ass during the show. All of his band members had gone through making sure everything was alcohol free and even gave up drinking for him, but he got tempted and somehow got drunk again before the concert. He is not a bad man and didn't lie to his fans on purpose. He has a real problem and needs more help and support.
inform yourself before even trying to say one thing about the band. They're going through some rough times right now.

Mooniesweg no offense taken...were all human sometimes we just forget that. when we look at someone else
to my knowledge though someone close to him was dying I believe the woman taking care of him in rehab who he considered to be a mother to him, just as hard hitting if you ask me.
It was his rehab mother that died. why do people have to be such asses and jump to conclusions. She meant a lot to him. she helped him get clean and reclaim his life. maybe he feels like he owes her his life now. I completely understand and if you were a real fan you would too.
literally it was like being Five Finger Death Punched in the heart last night all i can tell you is my tears are as real as his pain..and he was not ALONE..

I saw them in Cincinnati before this happened. If you have a basic understanding of Ivan you know he's not the closest with his actual parents. So, it's not like he just lied about her being his mother. She helped him with a very difficult thing and was that figure for him. Just saying guys.
Rhiannon Moody I know it was brutal I was there still never got a refund and although I'm not a fan I brought my son because he liked them.. there are other ways of going about a situation like that if you listen I have another video of the first two songs he said you guys caught me on a great night 10 minutes later my mom's dying go figure

Going to be honest all I want is Ivan to get better. Addiction is a hard thing. Rehab mother or real mother this person meant something to him. he didnt relapsed I want him well all that matters is he gets better... FFDP - knuckleheads all the way love these guys to the world and back. I'll still be here when he's back ... x

Everybody needs to stop talking crap about Ivan Moody. First of all nobody really knows the truth and she believe Ivan over anybody if they are a real fan. Second of all that might have been the reason he started drinking. Third of all a mother isn't the person who"s vagina you came out of: a mother is a person you look up to as a person and you care for and love. So stop saying that he is a liar if you guys don't even know the truth.

it wasnt a lie his rehab mom passed away not his birth mom the woman who was helping him get and stay clean his rehab mom did pass away i just read it not long ago...

This has been 2 months and just a few days now since this show. I really hope that Ivan is getting the help he needs in rehab!
I saw them on December 3rd and Phil did an amazing job, but It was sad that Ivan wasn't there because of this exact reason.
I know Ivan will eventually get past this!
Sobriety is one of the hardest thing to beat next to drug addiction what a fkn battle it is.I'm trying to but not succeeding there has to be a way to give up this firewater and find a better way but it seems there isn't one.i don't know but one big fucking hellyeah yo ivan for beating it wish I could much respect to ivan

I've seen them multiple times. Me and my buddy are actually I'm the Wash It All Away video. I just wanna make it clear to those who was seeing them for the first time, that night, they are incredible live. I never got to look deep into it, but from what I saw, his sister called him out, and he corrected himself to it being his House mother (rehab mother) not his actual family. Like I said, I haven't seen if that was debunked or what, but honestly, if it has to do with him being sloshed that night, it was a lie. Everyone does it. We should forgive him and love him and his music along with everyone else in the band as we have been. I'm mad about that night too, but Shinedown made it up for me personally.

Can't believe he made up a lie of his mom dying instead of admitting he has an addiction problem. I was there too and super sad to hear about his mom. Now we find out it was a huge LIE. We deserved a better show than this shit. Huge let down. He needs help.
