- A' Mharconaich and Geal Charn are the munros i am climbing. A' Mharconaich and Geal Charn are beginner friendly Munros and are an easy Munro for beginners. A' Mharconaich and Geal Charn hillwalking route.
Hillwalking up A' Mharconaich and Geal Charn in Scotland is fun, hill walking in the Scottish highlands up Scotland's easiest mountain / munro.
A' Mharconaich and Geal Charn is the best starter munro for bagging munros. I am starting to camp and use tents in the future and do wild camping.
Wild camping in tents and making fires while bagging munros
This munro is suitable for dogs, hillwalking with dogs.
My channel is very similair to @Scottish Munro Journey , @BUSHMAN and BLUE , @Kraig Adams, @Scotland's Mountains
This is a good one for bagging the munros, munro bagging
I’ve never found an app that’s helpful be handy to show how to work it
Okay thanks yeah thats a really good idea
I have been saving these ones for the winter as they look nice and easy. Shame about the views but still a great wee video.
Yeah thanks Gus, its annoying but i have stopped for the winter now, hope to get back up and running soon
Love it☺️
Thankyou
Life gets in the way of hillwalking Dan. Story of my life 😂😂 Keep going, you are doing a grand job 👍🏻
Yeah absolutely! And i wont be out in the winter either!
@@DanMunroMan I always thought that too but am only at 41 and need to get some more in the bag. I am happy to do some on clear winter days when it’s cold but not snowing with some micro spikes. Hope your count is going well too👍🏻
On the Walkhighkands report it talks about a rover crossing at the end. Did you avoid it by crossing over higher up?
Hi Susanne, yeah there is a river crossing at the end. But its easy to cross, i imagine if there has been a lot of rainfall prior then it might be more challenging
Done those two a few times now and only had one time where I got something like a view. Nice views of Ben Alder range when you get them. The 2 south of those are nicer imo can't remember if you've done them. Re. GPS I always use tech but carry map and compass just in case. Saying that most Munro's have clear paths. The Corbetts are another matter 🤣 enjoy the wedding!
Dan my lad, whats the plan for 2023?
Hello my friend! I will probably start going out once or twice a month and do some munros, they are annoyingly just so far away now, i really wish i lived more central. Whats your plans?
Setting off Monday 15th May for a 66 munro trip, 6 weeks in the car, looking forward to it
When you doing a new video Dan?
Hi Michael, so i have 2 ready to upload, but i was waiting till the next weekend that i go out. It was meant to be this weekend, but the weather was really bad, so hopefully the first video will be up next weekend! I have a drone now so i have upped my production value :) i hope you like it!
What gps app you using mate
I use outdoor active! It costs but it is definitely worth it!
I’ve started doing munros, being from Edinburgh with the fuel costs it’s not a cheap hobby!! Much more expensive than golf
If I can do one or two trips a month and bag a a few at once that suits me so ones like this are ideal
I wish I lived somewhere like avimore or fort William 🏔️
Yeah i have always said fort william would be the best hub for doing munros, would only be 3 hours max in any direction, it would be perfect! And yes the fuel is ridiculous😂

Thankyou! And nah i still have to do them. They will probably be my next ones, this is my last video i had, so i need to get out and do some more, i might have to miss a video, and yeah its definitely best to have both forms of navigation
@@DanMunroMan glad you did the second cairn btw as that is the true summit
