Shadow and do community service when you can to start figuring out your interests that go along with being pre-med (underserved communities, working with kids, health policy, specialties, etc.)!
Noooo I feel like I have PTSD from studying the brachial plexus, and I'm getting my masters in Biomedical Science. At least I'll know it for med school haha

@@madisonmeyers5493 I chose public health because I found it more interesting than biology or something along those lines. Regardless of your major, you’ll have to take the same pre-med pre-req classes. Your major is more so to decide what type of classes you want to take outside of the pre-reqs all med school applicants have to take. A more science type major like biochem will give you an advantage when you get to biochem in med school for example, but a non science major like public health or something else gives you a unique prospective that you can use in your med school applications and throughout your med school education. It’s all personal preference! Good luck with starting college, it’s not as scary as it seems!!🥳
