I avoided massage for a really long time because I was afraid of being judged for being midsize or because I was worried they would have a harder time with my chubby body than they would if I were thinner. This channel has become a nightly thing for me❤ P.S. do you do any post partum specific work? I’m over a year post partum and my body still feels so different
What an excellent point! I never really considered that aspect of massage videos but you're right- there's a striking lack of diversity. I hope you're able to get a nice treatment soon and enjoy every moment of it! You certainly deserve that.
It would be a kore repatterning body assessment and gentle realignment for the whole structure, taking into account previous birth, operation, medications or recuperation periods. It’s good that she is taking time for self care, especially at this difficult time. The therapies must be like a supportive hug without the strain of being “on” like she has to be with well-wishing visitors. Human touch is always important but never more so than when cortisol levels are high due to unavoidable stress like what she’s experiencing in this season of her life. I use three types of cupping: Fire cupping if no contra-indications and there’s a need to create health via good blood flow and heat Korean pump cupping for those with contra indications to fire cupping and for smaller body areas eg joints like knees and for those disinclined to fire cupping Silicone cupping for milder suction eg face. Also those adverse to fire or Korean. Also used to good effect for cellulite, knees, shoulders, abdomen.
