This song has just grown and grown on me. Always a pleasure watching with you. Yeah, Jonah just continues to shine with his solo projects and he knows his bass players. The bassist on "Diamond Ring" is another monster. Just for a laugh check out Loop's merch video. All their humor and musicality is on display there. Who does that for a merch video?
As a keyboard player (primarilly), Jonah has always been the standout in a trio of standouts (Loops). I have yet to find anything these guys are a part of that doesn't absolutely floor me. Check out "Over The Horizen" from 2016 which was done in conjucntion with Samsung and a little different from their other stuff, but still 1000% Dirty Loops, ruclips.net/video/4-siHP8YjhI/видео.html ENJOY!
It really didn't dawn on me that Jonah had been working on this solo project for such a long time until it came out and this, as well as "Borrowed Time", was on it. I had heard the latter only last year, though. So when I became familiar with DL earlier this year, it didn't register with me that he was the same guy. It didn't hit me (no pun intended) until the EP came out. I guess now you just have to check out some of their covers. Also, Henrik did an album with his brother that came out a few years ago that's pretty nice.
When "Songs For Lovers" started posting, the question came up "Where's Jonah?" I don't remember whether the answer came from the band or a random commenter, but soon the consesus was that Jonah must be on a coffee break (referring to this solo project song). As a consequence, Jonah was invited on a "Songs For Lovers" video which of course was then named "Coffee break is over".
Would you be up for reacting to some of DL:s older stuff? They've been incredible from the very beginning. For instance, they originally made a splash on YT by posting insane covers -- turning pop songs into jazz fusion gold, like Lady Gaga's "Just Dance", Justin Bieber's "Baby" and Britney Spears "Circus". Also, don't mis out on midpoint masterpieces, such as "Hit Me" ,me the Samsung theme tand a very different (for DL) cover of "Wake Me Up".

Richard Bona, THE grooviest bass player on the planet.
