Thank you so much for this tutorial, it was a lifesaver when it came to creating my own house by my Japanese-style village. (I always like to make my house extra big and then the villager houses small. Reminds them who's in charge.) xD Note: Instead of smooth red sandstone, I used shroomlights. And instead of the traditional lanterns, I replaced them with blue lanterns. The build turned out exactly how I wanted. T_T Thank you again!

Doing this with a mod pack and with an older version of minecraft was a huge challenge, also doing it in survival, but it was all worth it in the end. From beginning to end.

I used red Stone brick instead of the Green one and it looks much better in my opinion. Actually what's cool with your content is that we can just be inspired by your build and changé what ever we want for The colors and other stuff

This took me 3 weeks on my survival map, I am pretty pleased with the outcome. I substituted a lot of blocks and it still looks great. Looking forward to doing the interior. Trying to make a "Meiji Restoration" type map on survival.
You should put the "acacia planks/stipped jungle logs" message in the top left corner rather than the bottom left. currently, the words are being overlayed by youtubes video player and it makes it difficult to notice when you show off a new block. Also, when in confined spaces it might be better to drop the cinematic view and just go first person. i appreciate that it looks cool while creating a large building but it makes it difficult to follow along and recreate it ourselves. overall its a really great video and a great design. im looking forward to copying more of your buildings. :))

@@BlueBits_YT Nah im using a desktop. Basically the pause/play button and the red time bar cover the block names. if you wanna see it you could open the video link in an incognito tab to view it without browser extensions/youtube creator view (dont know if thatd impact what youre seeing)
Just finished the exterior and interior house. That was so hard but amazing to do and will be so good to live in a castle like this, my friends are so amazed by how gorgeous the house is. Only problem its because it's a large construction and keeps coming mobs everywhere even with light. Besides that it's such a cool house. Thanks for the tutorial, I did everything like you said, only slightly changes like the dragon head and the egg and i also put carpet in the bedroom!

Note: not sure about the thing with the second story haven't reached up to that point yet
I don't know what you are talking about. There is Japanese Castle and then Then Interior video. The other castles in the distance are for me to reference while recording. If the 2nd story is 2 blocks lower thats news to me. If you find any mistakes let me know
This is another amazing and beautiful build! Thank you for the tutorial! I just built this in a modded 1.16.5 world and it looks fantastic. It's great to follow your tutorial for helpful hints on how to build and then use some of your techniques as inspiration for my own unique builds. One thing that would be helpful for future tutorials is displaying the total length x width x height of the finished build at the start. I used the initial grid display to clear out an area but still ended up running into some surrounding builds XD Anyway, I hope you continue making more content!

one more thing, I just finished a few hours ago and I noticed that there was no brewing area and had to make my own, maybe try to incorporate that into the build next time. other than that, I loved it. it was a lot of fun and it's gonna be the staple of my japanese village that I'm building :)

Most of it is visible in terms of the decoration. You can pause the video to analyze and copy what I did. I might do a general furniture video in the future. 😁👍

If its too fast you can slow it down in the video settings. 😊 And you cat put things on top of trapdoors in bedrock edition 😒

on java .16 you can put lantern on trap door by sneaking. Same when you want to use a sign on a chest. You need to put the item while sneaking

The best thing about this is that it has rooms that would just be decor (eg. Tv “room”) but also has survival rooms in there (eg. Storage room)

BlueBits you could install a mod called schematica, it tells you how many of each block is in the whole build :D
