As a team Arsenal were time wasting on the throw in, unfortunately Tomiyasu was the player punished for this as he was the player with the ball in his hand, that yellow is harsh imo
The 2nd was a legitimate, albeit soft, shirt pull with his left hand while Palace were counter attacking, this is a common yellow card offence.
Very harsh for the lad & the referees need to be consistent with these rule changes.
Palace definitely need a decent striker before September's deadline or goals are going to be very rare.
Also someone to replace Zaha’s threat. Eze is a fantastic player but not sure he’ll ever be a goalscorer.

all imma say is we played well. lerma and doucoure are amazing. lotomba is much needed as well as iheanacho and henderson. ref was appalling for both sides. if nketiah was given a pen for that then so shldve eze. tomyiasu shldnt of had a red but havertz shldve. overall decent performance. always work to do however. For gods sake Palace, get a bloody striker who knows where the goal is, or even what it looks like, and I am truly not saying this after this defeat but why Palace went to keep Roy I don't know, we need someone younger and more dynamic, it smacks of, just keep us in the Premiership for another season Roy, if we are not in a relegation dog fight for most of this season I'll eat my hat.
Roy is with us until we can find the right replacement pal, max the end of the season.. Potter refused us outright so we need the right fit.

Ill take a 1-0 loss against one of the best sides in europe where the only reason why they won is because of a dodgy ref. But our midfield has been looking very strong, and all that palace need to do is sign a promising striker (eg: balogun or jonothan david) to secure top 10
