Condenser Tube Cleaning

This video shows Projectile crews using metal tube cleaning projectiles to remove deposits from surface condenser tubes. Shooting projectiles is the best way to clean condenser and heat exchanger tubes. It uses safe, low pressure water. It is fast and efficient: a crew can typically clean 500 condenser tubes per hour. Projectile cleaning is also highly effective in that it can remove deposits from tubes in order to restore heat transfer and even provide the level of cleanliness needed to perform IRIS or Eddy Current testing. Cleaning with low pressure water and our patented projecitles is the best method for cleaning condensers and heat exchangers. This particular condenser shown has approximately 30,000 tubes and was cleaned in around 60 hours. This is considered a larger heat exchanger, but our cleaning system is good for shell and tube heat exchangers of all sizes.
