Had the same problem initially, stop bending, abandon the blue note, start sliding back and forth, skip notes, combine legatos with slides do some cascading pentatonic runs, BUT VARy the tempo and perhaps play less notes… this song has got a lot going on anyway… when there’s no need for a note, don’t play it and emphasize the next one…
