  • Eurowise 2” air ride lift kit
    Avid AC-06 18x8.5 +30 offset
    MONSTA A/T 285/65 R18
    Kit was an easy install.
    Little trimming required on the lower front section of the wheel arches. Also had to fold back the body seam located rear of the front wheel arches. No modifications required to the rears. Ride quality is much smoother with increased sidewall. No noticeable decrease in performance with normal driving but further driving will soon show more…
    Overall happy with the results.

    Hey mate looks awesome. I wonder if 265x60xr18 would work on the cayenne without a lift kit , with no rubbing. Besides that just wondering how are the monsta all terrain tyres feel on the road ? I run Falken wildpeak at3ws they are aweosme , but got really expensive now. How’s the performance in wet conditions ?

      I had 265/60x18 in BFG KO2’s in the past on a 03 Turbo stock air ride. It rubbed ever so slightly on the plastic in wheel well towards the intercooler. Nothing a heat gun and some RE shaping couldn’t fix. The Monsters have little road noise but nothing you wouldn’t expect for a A/T tyre. I wouldn’t say they are great on road when pushed hard you definitely feel some under steer going on. Average as a wet weather tyre. Fine for normal driving.

    I plan on buying a 955 tt as well, and convert it to a similar rig to your. But how is the reliability on it especially for the engine and transmission? Being the first gen kind of creats doubts.

      Each of the Porsche motors has issues unique to the specific models. None of the issues are major and for the most part the V8’s are extremely reliable if maintained.

    Just curious, how has the performance been with this bigger tires does the car still move quick in sport mode?

      Still a very quick car in sports mode. If you are very fussy you might get the Speedo re calibrated and shift points corrected. But I find it to be fine as is.

    Nice setup. Curious though, did the avid come in at 5x130 bolt pattern or did you use an adapter? Thanks!

      They are a blank rim drilled to suite 5x130

    Any contact of the tire with ball joint of upper control arm? You have original upper control arm or the one from eurowise?

    Hey mate who installed the lift kit ?

    • @hsvh3hummer942
      @hsvh3hummer942  2 года назад +3

      I purchased the lift from Eurowise. I had full intentions of installing it but Ozzy tyres offered to do it for $300 so I let them install while they did my wheels and tyres. Simple install though.
