    It's a good thing this is the last day of the race because you might not have a voice for another day. Seriously I hope you get better in time for the TDF because a major race without your recap wouldn't be as enjoyable. Ps would Milan have made it back without the help of all the team cars.

    • @ChrisHornerCycling
      @ChrisHornerCycling  4 месяца назад +5

      Nope. Without the cars no one makes it back to the peloton in 9.2K I don’t care how strong they are or if their team was there waiting for them, under this scenario they do not make it back in time to race for the win. Only way to make it back that soon is if the peloton sat up and waited. The trek car was too far back. This would make a good video topic. 🤔🦋😱🦋💪

    Trouble with looking back when on or near the front is that someone like Stuyven goes from one side to the other and your front wheel gets taken out because you're looking behind. I think ask Mr Thomas about this one as I'm sure he's still got a few scabs from when he last looked back. I even heard Mr Armstrong say, if you look back, your bike goes off the way you look. I think if the Sprinter is good then he should be on your wheel, if he's not then that's his problem :D

Tadej has won enough for now and so far no Tour wins for Coyote, so it is his turn, woohoo. His father Bastien is an ex-pro and stand up guy who runs the LBS in the town I live in, and who still knows how to turn a pedal. Robin was the 2022 Swiss elite road champion and also 2022 winner of the Serenissima Gravel race. 1 Request: Can you please do a segment on why doing Giro - Tour Double is so tough in modern Cycling. Froome did Tour - Vuelta double in 2017. Both Roglic and Quintana did Tour Podium + Vuelta victory in 2020 and 2016 respectively.
    Is Giro + Tour double a big challenge due to mental or physical fatigue? What should Pogacar's schedule look like in terms of recovery and training for completing Giro Tour Double now that he has won Giro.
    Let's say Pogacar can complete Giro Tour double this year. Can he go for triple crown in a same year. I know it happens in other sports like Tennis but looks impossible in Cycling. Thank you for your insights!

    Tadej will break Roglic on the climbs at TDF. They are about equal in TT's. A healthy Jonas is the only one who will challenge him w a healthy Van Art and team. Remco is a better Classic/Monuments rider, like Vanderpool. Both will steal some stage and be top 5-10 in the GC. Tadej's biggest advantage is that the UAE team is healthy and battle-tested in a 21 stage GC going into TDF.
