(3:50) I grew up being known as a "really funny guy" and I often felt pressured to "be funny" all the time. I can easily see how someone who is _actually_ "really funny" might tire of being expected to perform like some sort of dancing bear or a trained monkey. I heard people say that was one of the reasons for Robin Williams's depression. It gets pretty old and occasionally you find yourself not wanting to go out with larger groups of people, some of whom you might not really know. Because sometimes, people want to bring their friends to meet...the funny guy. They would even literally ask you point blank to "say something funny". Ugh.There really is something to that whole "sad clown who is laughing on the outside but crying on the inside" thing.

If im watching those shows, then i expect those types of mindsets. If I'm watching Seinfield or Friends, then I'm not expecting it.
