Major League Baseball consists of 30 teams split between the American and National Leagues. Congratulations to the Astros W and Justin Verlander for his surpassing Greg Maddox in strikeouts! Passing Maddox in Strikeouts is a monumental event because Maddox is amazing and a Legend / wizard of breaking balls and nasty moving pitches. Ask old Astros about Maddox and how nasty he was 😮
