great vid but there cant be 14k people in radiant because radiant is top 500 in the region i think there are 5-6 regions dont know exactly but good work
i've acctually just seen that part of the video, if u don't look at the diagramm the numbers say its 0.01% of players which would make it 1400 player which is pretty accurate.
I think, I might be wrong here, radiant isn't just necessarily the top 500, I think I heard something about NA recently only having somewhere like 300 radiants
Had a mate stuck in iron 1-2 since the launch of the game, he always felt like he couldnt focus on anything happening on screen and struggled to even hear some of the games clearest audio queues like ult sounds and bomb taps. 2023 hit and he got a new pc with a 144hz monitor and became really enthusiastic about wanting to rank up so I decided to try coaching for a bit (immo 2 peak) and told him to get a new headset which didnt help too much but he did manage to hit bronze 2 by himself. Long story short he had a brain tumor removed at the end of april last year, and after some more coaching he is now in diamond 2.
Another important thing to consider with the super low ranks is hardware, it's not relevant for 95% of people but the small group of kids who play on a $5 mouse or a school laptop or with 150 ping will make up a significant portion of the iron 1 and 2 players
I’d say this isn’t entirely true, the only rank that is capped with a certain number of people is Radiant, but with the other ranks not being capped it doesn’t take away from you. Your friend getting to Gold at the same time as you doesn’t mean you can’t hit Gold or that you will have a harder time doing so.
@@Mexxhr Nah mate you don't really understand the point. The skill level of the overall playerbase is growing. Just watch some silver player gameplay from closed beta and compare it to now - it's night and day. If you took that player and plopped them in rank now, they'd prolly be bronze. That's why so many people are trying to improve, but the rank distribution remains about the same season to season - because everyone else in their rank is also trying to improve, and the net effect is that nobody's winrate changes. It's not that ranks have hard caps on the number of players in them, but the matchmaking algorithm works by trying to keep the average player at around silver 2ish. So the only way to rank up is to improve faster than the average player is improving. This phenomenon is super obvious in old/long running games. Watching silvers in CSGO when it launched was like watching people who had never used a computer before. Nowadays (before cs2 came out), most silvers were bad but could at least shoot back. Same with R6, overwatch, etc. So if you've been playing for a couple years with a few hundred hours and stuck in gold the whole time, do you really think you haven't improved at all? I don't know any activity where someone could do it for a few hundred hours and see no improvement. So the truth is you are improving, just at a slow rate, equally slow as the average gold players you're matched against. So you stay at 50% winrate and don't leave your rank. But your skill has definitely improved. Just watch your old gameplay if you have it, you'll be surprised how much better you are now
There’s also problems with the rank resets too, I’ve had people in lower ranks (gold or below) face old diamond players and even worse ascendants have a mix of actual ascendants and old radiants
I think Rank Resets, specifically Episode resets, are the most inconsistent times to play Valorant, and it might be because of the game looking at your whole history. I always know I’ll play at least one high plat low diamond match during episode resets because that’s where I peaked, but that was like 2 years ago now.
@@Mexxhrit really is stupid, I’m being punished for not playing the game. I’m a imm3 player who got pushed to asc1 and whenever I do play most of my teammates are boosted. I’ve literally match mvped or team mvped the last 10 games and still lost like 8 of them. So now I’m much higher skill than my actual rank and it seems like it’ll take me a while to rank up because I gotta keep playing until the odds of having decent teammates allow me to win more. 😂
@@Mexxhri just dont play on the first act anymore. Ranking up literally becomes a pure coinflip REGARDLESS how well you play. I have a universally more meaningful time playing on the second and third acts because solo queue lobbies stop feeling like 5 stack/trio-q lobbies by the start of the second act. it's dumb in my opinion because a lot of people end up wasting time trying to rank back up to their original ranks not realising that they are capped at what rank everyone else is at. So in reality it's not a regular reset, it literally takes away your rank and makes climbing so much harder for a few months.
I think the biggest reason to the missconseption that many palyers are plat, diamond and above is that most other people we see playing valorant are youtubers, streamers, or pro players. These moslty are pretty good at the game, so we assume that most casual players are too.
100%, people tunnel vision into the fact that most of the creators they watch are in plat or higher lobbies, but they are dedicated content creators who play the game more then the casual players. I’d argue there’s actually two type of casual players, the ones who don’t care about ranks and the ones who do but can’t dedicate as much time to it.
I disagree with the point about smurfs 95% of smurfs in silver/bronze lobbies are plats/diamonds playing on alts with friends not ascendants/immortal players
the thing about smurfs is even though there arent many high rank players, and then presumably wouldn't be many smurfs as a result, it only takes 1 player being a smurf to ruin a game. that's just 1 in 10 players per game being a smurf, but even if you only ran into a smurf every other game or every 3 games you would still think that smurfs are ruining your experience. Also, most smurfs arent ascendant or immortal, they are usually just 2 or 3 ranks above on their main account, and there are a LOT of diamond/plat players on that graph.
I can agree with that, it can be very frustrating going up against someone you don't feel prepared to face, but I think the difference in ranks is also very exaggerated among players.
An interesting thing i have to add about ascendant when it was added, I was plat 2, had been there for about 2 episodes (only got there after a bit, been playing since beta.) I noticed that everyone around plat and gold got pushed up a bit when it was added, for example, I went from plat 2, to being placed in plat 3 after placements, which I had never hit before, and then got to diamond 2 in one act. By the next act, I hit ascendant 2. So I got way higher out of nowhere, and its not like in one act my skill significantly changed. Today, I haven't had as much time to grind comp but I've noticed my mmr gets higher and higher. Ascendant 3 currently, Been a game off of immortal quite a few times. Trying to go for immortal this act, have a bit more time to grind than I used to, Wish me luck!
I should also add that a lot of low immortals got pushed down to ascendant, because it was way higher in population than it is now. Feels bad for them, but that's the nature of adding a new rank.
Agreed, some people had to get pushed down but it was already a low amount of players considering how little were so high. Good luck on hitting Immortal!
Nice video, I couldn't help but notice some crackling in your mic, it might have to do with other electronic devices which signal gets in your cables, I get slightly annoyed by the crackling, I might be the only one but I was just letting you know :)
No I’m definitely annoyed by it as well thanks for pointing that out. I think it’s one of my noises gates that I have setup that is causing my gain to be cut off leading to the crackling. I’ll be working on audio because I don’t like the quality of it either.
ive been playin since ep5, was stuck in iron till ep7, got in bronze 2, ep8 started, got placed as b1. i was sooo happy evem tho all my friends told me that bronze is like bottom, and now in like one month i got from bronze 1 to silver 2. I know its not a huge improvment, but to me its crazyyy. Also in iron, players that ive seen are either new to the game or average bronze players that just dont get lucky with their teammates. As alot of high rank players said, its super hard to leave low ranks in a solo que.
First off, congrats on making it out of Iron. Any improvement is good when that’s what your goal is, so props to you for keeping at it. Second off, you’re right that getting out of those lower ranks can be hard, and solo queue is a whole other monster in it of itself. If you can find a duo or even a trio, it will be worth it.
When you get into higher ranks i feel people tend to forget how tight that actual area is. When you get up there you tend to only be friends with or hang out online with other high ranks unless the low ranks are irl friends. So it makes it seem like your rank is less of an accomplishment. As an as 2-3 player i almost only ever consistenly play with and meet asc to immo players so to me most the players are immo/asc when in reality its not like that but because i dont see the lower ranks very often it seems like a smaller subsect of the community. It may not be for other people but for me i sometimes forget that most of the players in this game arent trying to win and grind they just have fun
Yeah, we all have different “normal” areas if you will, and it’s like you said, you get used to seeing the same people over and over so you don’t think about people outside of that group.
thanks dude, no one ever talks about this, and people smack talk so much in plat, but everyone there has had skill at some point cause skill isnt a definite variable its always changing
I learned how the game works and normally play unranked like a bronze or a silver, yet never have the courage to play in ranked matches to rank-up from Iron 2-3 💀 because some egoistic turkish immortals end up with an alt just to criticize the team and throw the game to make team lose after everyone in the team is mocking him for smurfing. :/
just to add to the idea of smurfs. whenever you create a new account its actually very hard to get that account into low ranks. like you need to actively throw matches if you are too good. when I tried to play with my friend who is new to FPS I had to make him play my ranked matches. but usually these "smurf" accounts turn into alt accounts real fast. like my accounts are in diamond and plat rn and Im just a diamond peak. double rank ups and hidden mmr that I think you already get in unranked matches make it hard to get into low elo if you are able to reach atleast diamond consistently.
I am in Diamond after 262h of comptitive gameplay but still, when i see other Players that are Immo2 and above i always see how much there still is to learn i would consider myself pretty good as far as my rank goes, at least my tracker core says that. So even if this video gives u a part of ur ego back, wich is good keep learning everyday. AND WATCH WOOHOOJIN.
Facts, I’m hoping some people walked away from the video feeing a little better, but by no means should you get complacent if your goal is to get as high as possible. Let’s get to grinding again ya’ll
As someone whose placed in gold originally and then silver 2 next act, I never really cared enough past placements to continue going through comp. Especially when 3/5 of those ranking games were horrid with people who weren’t nice. (Although that’s a toxicity issue not a rank issue). I stick to my SwiftPlay/SpikeRush games. It also doesn’t help that the computer I have makes it hard for me to climb.
How is Swiftplay and Spikerush? I’m actually looking into those two for a video since I personally don’t play much of both modes but I know they have people that only play those modes.
@@Mexxhr I honestly really enjoyed them! Although I miss the game mode where everyone could be 1 agent. SpikeRush is a fast paced game where you get randomized weapons at the start. The only times you’re able to switch guns is if you get the “Gun Upgrade” orb or the “Golden Gun”. Both of which I refuse to use as I see them as cheap wins. The other orbs are things like, instant ultimate, stem beacon, paranoia, dogs that are like skies ult, etc. I really only have 1 big issue when it comes to SpikeRush, and that’s the golden gun. The golden is a cheap, basically “instant-win” gun that is unfair & can spawn 1rst round. It not only gets rid of the gun in your secondary hand, so if you end up missing every shot you’re screwed if it’s a pistol round, but it also has MULTIPLE bullets & you GET BULLETS BACK if you get a kill. I think that’s cheap, unfair, and goes against the whole point if “mystery guns”. IF the gun you held turned gold & allowed you ONE shot to insta kill, then went back to the gun it was originally- I personally think that’s a better idea. SwiftPlay, it’s basically a faster unrated. I enjoy this game mode when I get tired of the RNG or annoying orb usage of SpikeRush. SwiftPlay is basically like any unrated or comp, except it only goes to first to 5 wins, where SpikeRush is first to 4. It gives you extra credits so you’re able to buy things much faster, but other than that it’s a quicker UnRanked- which I enjoy.
It's a special year for me because at last this feb after being hard stuck silver- gold for 3 years straight, I have parted ways with valorant. And I am actually more happy in my life now.
I was actually stuck in iron for an episode, and I tried to get out. But valorant is my first shooter and my second game in generell after minecraft xd
Welcome to Valorant, it’s not a bad place to start as someone’s first shooter and it does a good job of pushing you to wanting to get good at the game.
Like you said, a lot of people play casually. So the low ranks might have a high number but they are not as active while Smurfs probably play more so I would say that raises the probability here. Besides that, thanks for making me feel good about my rank :D
basically just started the game a few weeks ago (3-4 maybe) just got out of iron and have been bronze 1 for roughly 3 days makes me feel better knowing some dudes be worse than me unironically
Been playing for like 2-3 years. Never been good at any FPS. I bounce between Silver 3 and Gold 1 and it's fine. I feel like I get rolled when I play someone in Gold 3 or plat 1. Which is fine and frustrating at the same time, but I do love the game. Best I do is watch some VCT and shit talks some teams, it fulfills that competitive itch I get.
back when i was in silver i had a week where almost every game i was getting smurfs on the other teams and trolls on mine (im talking 1 normal game then 2-3 messed up ones), but then i second i hit plat they all just stopped appearing. I understand why people in lower ranks complain so much because smurfs dont appear in the ranks youtubers and streamers are usually in.
As someone in i3 I swear how cracked are you guys at high ranks its basically a requirement to know most call outs and be able to one taps to get bronze one how much higher can you guys get.
As someone who in plat, getting out of iron is a lot easier than it seems. Its just mechanics, anything besides that is a waste of time in iron. You don't need callouts, you don't need one taps, you just need mechanics.
As an bronze player who started 2-3 eps ago, I always get to bronze 3, but then rank reset places me down to b1 or iron. I've been hardstuck bronze, i match or team MVP 80 percent of my games, 20 hs rate, 166 dmg per round, 70 KAST, and 1.34 kd. :p
Eventually the game will recognize that you should be a little higher and just move you there, which is the double or triple rank up, or the 35+ rr games. Even though I don’t play much anymore, if I ever place Silver I instantly go up to Gold regardless of where I placed in Silver.
@@Mexxhr Usually to get that double rank up you have to beat an opposing team consisting of mostly all of the next rank above you. Even if you are getting mvp alot if you're not winning against higher rank players the system is not gonna give you that 35 plus rr or a double rank up.
nope, I droped 30s in my carreer, and I only got 20-22 rr per 30 bomb. My friend, whos higher ranked than me, gets somehow more rr than me when shes bottom frag :p (she gets like 25 but shes silver 2)@@Mexxhr
I grinded my way up to Diamond 3 80rr pre ascendant, 1 good win from immortal right before the episode ended, got placed in diamond 3 and peaked at asc 3 😢
My main issue in my rank is the danm matchmaking, either i get totally rolled or i do the rolling, but when i do i know for fact next game back then followed, i mean i an not plat material best low gold, heck i once lost 20 games in a row, by the end of that my brain was destroyed
This is some silver cope fs I went from bronze to plat 2; so much of the issues with competitive stem from other players tbh. They need to reevaluate matchmaking because roughly half of the games I play are throwaway games because someone malded and started throwing, don't have comms, don't want to collaborate, or are just straight toxic. Rarely, probably 20% of the time, are there good-natured teammates that you can banter with and will actively want to win. I feel like the only real way to do competitive would be slightly more invasive- you should factor in the combat score, take into account how someone is using comms, (voip and text) as well as pinging. If you have garbage aim, 90% of that can be overcome by communicating with your team and synergizing utility. unfortunately, 70%-80% of the games I play are people who instalock duelist and then do basically nothing the whole game but mald while not doing any useful comms, doesn't use util, baits, doesn't use ult, doesn't push for their team; so much of the current competitive system is based on aim and not how you actually play with your team- the part that actually matters for whether you win or lose. Too many all aim no brain players are mostly the reason I end up losing my matches
I got a pc like 2 months ago and I was a console player a gm/top 500 overwatch player and diamond in siege when that was the highest rank(operation health and b4) I’m actively trying to make progress on valorant the main thing I have going for me is game sense because that transfers between games but I’m just working on my aim and other things I don’t play val every day and I haven’t even played probably 15 comp games and I’m already in gold which I feel is good I just feel the pain of lack of experience on pc so often with my headshot accuracy being low and everyone else just chad 30-40% I still have a 1.5 kd and good stats according to my friends I just wish I had swapped to pc way earlier because I’d love to go pro on pc I played in teams on console for some very minor tournaments some were streamed but not a lot of viewers but I feel I’m just so late that I’d need to be the best player ever to catch up so quickly to the players with years of experience more than me and who knows maybe if I give it a year of constant practice I’ll be able to reach a high rank but I’m just not certain especially because of my age I’m worried my reaction time will start to slow or maybe I won’t be accepted by the time I’m there I’m only 21 but idk just everything worries me if you read all this my name Val is jungle so maybe you’ll see me one day wish me luck
I actually hopped on PC for the first time when I was 21, and I managed to grind my way up to Plat 3, almost Diamond before I fell off haha. It was more so burnout for me though, but I believe if you put some time into it you’ll be fine. Game sense is huge and as a former Siege player as well let me tell you alot of it does carry over. Aim with M&K comes over time, don’t stress too much about it.
The rank also kinda means nothing below plat. Got a gold reyna on the opposite side that I could slaughter without trying, like she took an odin and I took her out with a Spectre. Meanwhile I get 1 tapped by iron 3s so much that I think I should still be in iron 1. That's why getting past plat can be hard because the people who actually somewhat know what they're doing are up there. The rest of us just do random crap. I got to bronze 1 but I really don't care, I just want to get skins and finish the battlepass. My friend streams valorant so I started playing so I can understand what's going on.
I was a hardcore competitive minecraft PvPer but I Started valorant when Episode 8 act 1 started and got to bronze 1 and I Say i don't really care or associate my skill with my rank since I know I'm new and inexperienced(also past experience of the the Idiot's Fallacy) but decent enough to mid frag in silver/gold lobbies.
I think in ranked you are correct the odds of you coming across a real smurf is low though does happen on occasion -- more likely you have an account that isn't being grinded on by someone that was higher before and got reset and just decided not to grind again or as hard due to a variety of factors... now in unrated there are smurfs all the time I come across or just god like amazing players that just started the game with a level 11 Astra and just happens to 1 tap everyone who's silver / gold etc.. plus even though I've peaked G1 I often play unrated with former ascendents and immortals WTF is up with that... and of course I get shat on by them nearly every time unless they're just goofing off... so for the ranked games I think riot is doing a decent job of keeping ppl together although I've even had a game or two that had ranks in it that I had no business going up against but in unrated it's hurting the game cause their match making system is sh*t and you're just as likely to go up against ppl within your own skill level as you are having a radiant or former immortals on the other team... good day sir and thanks for the info.
The smurf one makes me question stats a bit, i had at least one smurf in all 10 of my recent matches, not even just someone having a good game but actual confirmed smurfs, in 5 of those matches it was so they could play with a low elo friend 4 times cuz they got banned on main, and one dude just said cuz he felt like it, normally if you try and befriend em and help em out a bit theyll loosen up a bit and tell you why theyre smurfing . I find it hard to believe that i just got unlucky and kept getting matches against smurfs
this video’s stats are skewed, as most people don’t care about their rank. If you DONT CARE about ur rank then sure if ur silver ur doin fine. But if you DO care and ur silver… well ur probably doin something wrong
I get where you’re coming from, but the point I was trying to make was that people exaggerate the actual number of players in higher ranks, and people develop this misconception that because “everyone” is in high ranks, so should they.
I know that not every one who plays good in bronze is a smurf, but i hate it that when I queue into a game there is always a 30% chance of an lvl 3 Jett who dominates the whole Lobby. and i dont think, that they are all from csgo. anyways, great vid!
if there are so little people in ascendant to radiant, can i stop getting those in my pubs? seriously one day 5 matches (one inmortal 3, 1 radiant #164, ascendant 2 and 3, diamond 1 and a trolling smurf who said his main account is ascendant 1) and yes, i didnt win a single game that day and i still got those matchmakings (i got the ranks with valorant tracker looking the peak of last act and the current one)
Sometimes it just comes down to the luck of the draw, you’re bound to see them, but unrated is also the one place where you will see higher ranks. With ranked you’ll get the occasional smurf but it’s more rare.
11:02 tell that to my matchmaking buddy, also a lot of the iron 1 player base is usually smurfs or new accounts i would say 60% smurf or bot accounts deranking themselves to sell to smurfs and about 40% of real new accounts/bad players.
That’s an ambitious goal, the more people that start playing Valorant the more competitive it gets, especially at the top. A lot of people had said being ok with being in the middle of the pack is being complacent, but in reality it’s just acknowledging that it’s tough to get past a certain point.
You’re right lol, my point was though that in my opinion, the smurf problem is greatly exaggerated. It’s definitely a thing, but I think people are too quick to label someone a smurf.
@@Mexxhryea I tried to play bad on a new account to play with a friend but I ended up placing gold 3 and then I got to play a couple games with my buddy but the game will make you rank up very quickly. I was able to play 3 games before I couldn’t play with my silver friends anymore.
It leans more Silver and Gold to be honest, because of the sheer amount of people in those lower ranks. I don’t think the average will ever go beyond Gold to be honest, or at least it shouldn’t with new players coming in.
i placed diamond and know zero callouts and only some abilities, but I do have a brain. If you genuinely have been playing for 4 years and are in silver thens its gg
Lmaoo, you’re really oversimplifying everything but you have to consider that some people will hop on with zero experience and be crazy good, doesn’t mean everyone else “has no brain” lmaoo some people are just naturally good. Props to you bud
I don’t agree with your take. I think finding a Smurf is much more likely than you make it sound since a lot of people in lower ranks don’t play ranked as much but Smurf’s do actively play meaning the chance of finding a Smurf is much higher than it would seem.
Most players that come from CS are pretty quick to point out the lack of mechanical skill, and the ability "crutch" so you're definitely not alone in that, but I think it's gotten better over the years, more Valo players are putting time into their mech skill.
I played valorant 2year and ya Im still bronze3 - sillver1 in SAE yes that game too toxic If I talk about info has someone said a girl? Or Im new bie or trough that round
Has anyone ever thought the average player is Diamond? The OVERWHELMING majority of the player base for almost ANY game is casual players. Competitive players make up a small minority. I'm only a minute into the video and can tell you the average is silver/gold.
@@Mexxhr personally I cannot speak on the reasoning behind owning multiple accounts, im no neuroscientist. But I also know riot does very little to actually weed and sort through accounts that are being shared across large groups of people or just sitting unused beyond getting a single rank or played once per act. There are sights where these accounts are being sold in packs bro, I’m talking 10 to 20 for like 5 bucks. Bots play and take them to a lvl where ranked is unlocked. But basing an entire video off of data (you even clearly state that this is the data you put your entire stance on) without considering the entire picture or talking about margins of errors shows you don’t actually understand or care about validity and accuracy of data. Just like those professors from Harvard, it basically makes the rest of your video a yap sesh with the evidence being “just trust me bro”. Beyond that, I like your editing style and I also think your personality is great. As long as you don’t just take data at face value and incorporate that into your videos I’d def sub and keep watching. You don’t even have to agree with me, just tell the whole story that this does happen, we just don’t know exactly how large or small.
Yes yes, comfort yourselfs litle bro, yes percentage might be small for higher ranks but, if valorant is played by like 17.59 Milion players..... If ur hardstuck gold and ur really trying and having above 150fps on 50 ping, and playing every day etc, then yes u are a complete loser. Players who reach plat or diam arent even that good, even in my immortal games there is so much bots... So my advice is just get your rank and after that just chill in low elo cuz high elo isn't as fun as gold elo :D enjoy it .
what a cope. bad players always find excuses to justify their ranks instead of actually trying to get better. how do you expect to rankup when more than half the video you're staring at the ground instead of putting your crosshair at head or atleast chest height
My guy, i’m not justifying me being Gold right now lmaooo I am trash right now, I deserve to be in Gold, especially considering I don’t play nearly as much as I used to. The point of the video was to let people know that the majority of the player base is in Silver or Bronze, not Plat and higher as a lot of people wrongfully think. So this whole mentality of, “I should be in Diamond because everyone else is” is just plain wrong.
great vid but there cant be 14k people in radiant because radiant is top 500 in the region i think there are 5-6 regions dont know exactly but good work
I mean it was an estimation, but you’re right, each region has the top 500 but even with all the different regions we’re not at 14k. Good catch
no i think thats acc like there my be 20million player but maybe only 5million active comp playersif even.
i've acctually just seen that part of the video, if u don't look at the diagramm the numbers say its 0.01% of players which would make it 1400 player which is pretty accurate.
was gonna say this
I think, I might be wrong here, radiant isn't just necessarily the top 500, I think I heard something about NA recently only having somewhere like 300 radiants

I won't calm down until i reach immortal 1 😂
Another important thing to consider with the super low ranks is hardware, it's not relevant for 95% of people but the small group of kids who play on a $5 mouse or a school laptop or with 150 ping will make up a significant portion of the iron 1 and 2 players
the thing is as you get better everyone gets better. to rank up you need to get better faster than everyone in your rank
That’s not really true cuz you get way more rr for winning than you lose rr for losing. Additionally new players lower the average skill level.
I’d say this isn’t entirely true, the only rank that is capped with a certain number of people is Radiant, but with the other ranks not being capped it doesn’t take away from you.

Man i didn't realize how many people were below my rank, me being crushed every other match and all.
Let’s get to grinding again ya’ll
i truly thought i was shit being diamond 2, now my ego inflated. thanks chief
Welcome to Valorant, it’s not a bad place to start as someone’s first shooter and it does a good job of pushing you to wanting to get good at the game.
my confidence as imm3 felt awesome ty g
Good video. Thank you for that
Like you said, a lot of people play casually. So the low ranks might have a high number but they are not as active while Smurfs probably play more so I would say that raises the probability here. Besides that, thanks for making me feel good about my rank :D
basically just started the game a few weeks ago (3-4 maybe)
just got out of iron and have been bronze 1 for roughly 3 days
makes me feel better knowing some dudes be worse than me unironically
@@strawberrytea-ot5zu what other mechanics

Grind don’t stop fr
Been playing for 2 months, placed iron 1 just hit plat 1.
A lot of the old peak diamond players seem washed to me.
My main issue in my rank is the danm matchmaking, either i get totally rolled or i do the rolling, but when i do i know for fact next game back then followed, i mean i an not plat material best low gold, heck i once lost 20 games in a row, by the end of that my brain was destroyed
This is some silver cope fs
I went from bronze to plat 2; so much of the issues with competitive stem from other players tbh.
Sonic Unleashed OST is goated, nice pick bro

As a ascendant 2 player i am top 2% of the player base👀
The rank also kinda means nothing below plat.
Got a gold reyna on the opposite side that I could slaughter without trying, like she took an odin and I took her out with a Spectre.
Meanwhile I get 1 tapped by iron 3s so much that I think I should still be in iron 1.
That's why getting past plat can be hard because the people who actually somewhat know what they're doing are up there. The rest of us just do random crap.
I got to bronze 1 but I really don't care, I just want to get skins and finish the battlepass. My friend streams valorant so I started playing so I can understand what's going on.
I was a hardcore competitive minecraft PvPer but I Started valorant when Episode 8 act 1 started and got to bronze 1 and I Say i don't really care or associate my skill with my rank since I know I'm new and inexperienced(also past experience of the the Idiot's Fallacy) but decent enough to mid frag in silver/gold lobbies.
is that 30 fps in game or the recorder
As an Ascendant I'm proud of myself after this video.
I find it hard to believe that i just got unlucky and kept getting matches against smurfs
been bronze for a couple years now, this makes sense
Ive been playing for 5 months and im currently dia 1 is this good?
this video’s stats are skewed, as most people don’t care about their rank.
I've been playing valorant for 3.5 years and stuck in sliver. Get it right.
I know that not every one who plays good in bronze is a smurf, but i hate it that when I queue into a game there is always a 30% chance of an lvl 3 Jett who dominates the whole Lobby. and i dont think, that they are all from csgo. anyways, great vid!
Nice vid bud
Hahah yee I’m D2, we chilling^^
if there are so little people in ascendant to radiant, can i stop getting those in my pubs? seriously one day 5 matches (one inmortal 3, 1 radiant #164, ascendant 2 and 3, diamond 1 and a trolling smurf who said his main account is ascendant 1) and yes, i didnt win a single game that day and i still got those matchmakings (i got the ranks with valorant tracker looking the peak of last act and the current one)
Sometimes it just comes down to the luck of the draw, you’re bound to see them, but unrated is also the one place where you will see higher ranks. With ranked you’ll get the occasional smurf but it’s more rare.
How are there 14k radiants, when there can only be 500 per region?
11:02 tell that to my matchmaking buddy, also a lot of the iron 1 player base is usually smurfs or new accounts i would say 60% smurf or bot accounts deranking themselves to sell to smurfs and about 40% of real new accounts/bad players.
ngl big playerbase make me feel worse cuz *damn theres a few million people better than me im bad*
i kinda hab the ideology of only being quote on quote good at something if you're top 50k ish globally at something
That’s an ambitious goal, the more people that start playing Valorant the more competitive it gets, especially at the top. A lot of people had said being ok with being in the middle of the pack is being complacent, but in reality it’s just acknowledging that it’s tough to get past a certain point.
Berry good
10:56 lol asc can't smurf in silver because they would accidentaly place too high (into plat lobbies)
I was able to play 3 games before I couldn’t play with my silver friends anymore.

acendant and immortals smurrf diamond because the queue times in their ranks are way too long
As someone who jasnt touched an fps in afew yrs and played cs i assumed most of the playerbase was asc bc of the lack of mech skill 💀💀💀
Most players that come from CS are pretty quick to point out the lack of mechanical skill, and the ability "crutch" so you're definitely not alone in that, but I think it's gotten better over the years, more Valo players are putting time into their mech skill.

im diamond but bro your sprays are far more better than me
I have friends with 20+ alt accounts. If you think that chart is anywhere near real then no one here knows how data works.
If you think there are multiple people with 20+ accounts like your friends maybe your view is skewed… why do you need 20 accounts to begin with lmaooo
