It’s awesome how old XXth century lathe are used for so many operations. I hadn’t heard of these japan lathe brands (Kimura and Eguro) but they seems to be very precise and polyvalent, it’s a great thing that they don’t throw them away because of ”modernization”
Interesting to see quite old technology by today’s standards. Now if this were in U.K. many would be saying we were outdated. Craftsmanship is the same world over.
I buy clamps and the likes off flea bay , the quality of the stuff is amazing , it makes snap on look like draper ,,, and always handy for picking up bolts and the likes in an engine.
This medical device is used in otolaryngology. It is used to apply medicine to the throat of a patient by wrapping cotton wool around the spiral-shaped, bent tip and applying medicine to it.

Many of Japan's manufacturing plants still use old-fashioned lathe machines.
