doctor: you have 1 hour, 30 minutes, and 24 seconds left to live
me:
I like how dave while changing the t.v. channels, goes back to the figure skating and watches for a second lol
Everytimes i see this video.....i miss nirvana so much.😭😭😭
Dave grohl is a man of culture
These guys were god damn hilarious. I wish Kurt Cobain was around to laugh at the absurdity of the world (and be pissed off at it) of the last 26 years.
Love this comment.
I, as many, have lost people that meant a great deal to them that could have had a bright future. But the one thing I tell myself when I think about them is: "At least you were not alive to see the day Donald Trump got into power". 🤣🤣 Kurt has trumps on us all for that one!! Xx
Big love. Hope you are happy and staying healthy 🧡💛
Exactly, well then again I believe everything happens for a reason. Would he be this thing if he’d be alive ? That’s a horrible question which is no matter to give an answer to. I wish he’d be happy, but mostly I wish he would see his daughter grow, and her having her father to teach her life, I’m sure he must’ve had some great things to share to the young, I guess the fact that I’m writing that right now means he did in some sort of way. Miss and care for him everyday, he introduced me to music.
Also...he'd be God like...he would of made a better President than Donald Trump lol
@@cazlaz trump was a hellava lot better than sleepy worthless joe Biden
He lives in cork Ireland
I love how humble they are the whole time. They continuously shouted out other bands rather than really talking about themselves.
Everyone but Krist you mean..
So Beautyfull howe Day talk aboutt ather Rock bands howe greate tho"s bands are end if Day forget about tham self.
So full of life so funny making jokes.
No Ego.
It is so Beautyfull to see tham so Happy
If it was jesterday
Nirvana ❤ Kurt such a Beautyfull Soul ❤🌳
@Takeover TV um the interview is literally about them so why can’t they talk about themselves?
I'm sorry you believe like that
Yea look what happened to Dave G Lofl
This was a masterpiece. I just watched for nearly four hours and I am going to bring it on back. Thank you for so many extended interviews. I fell asleep and dreamed i was in the band. Awesome
Watched again. ...
That's cool 👍
Iryhaahw
I've had those dreams before. I'm a drummer, so...I always wished I could go back in time and be their drummer!
@@chucktouchton398 but we love Dave!
i cant take it when they ask kurt about nirvana's future. it breaks my heart
Well well well my Michelle (yes I know thats a gnr song ha)
Spoiler alert!
😘❤🐞🐞🐞🙏🏻🐞
This is why I LOVED this band!! They never took themselves seriously
Kurt’s always so eager to give credit to the others who participated, it’s awesome
sign of a real man, professional and someone that doesn't want the attention to be on him - share the credits...
Not when it came to their contacts
Dude I love Krist. He was so funny and laid back. Didnt seem to be serious half of the time. Real hippie, peacful like enegy
He seems so genuine and I feel like he took one for the team to step up and communicate for the interviews when Kurt didn’t feel like it.
I was seriously just thinking about how much of an asshole he was during this period. He's matured greatly with age.
I was 2 months pregnant to Kurt? It had a heartbeat? I miss it so much, either girl/boy?!
56:07 "With a twist of lemon!"
Thanks for the compilation! Is awesome:)
I wish I was a teen/ young adult in the 90's, looks like a special time with so many special bands and counter cultures
Hello. As somebody who was 14-24 during the 90's I assure you that you would rather have grown up in the 80's.
@@Roger8176 my old man says the same thing. He graduated high school in ‘89
You have no idea. The 90’s were the best. Doesn’t even feel like the same planet anymore. Seems like a distant dream.
It was ♥️
The 90s produced a lot of great stuff but wasn't that great to grow up in. Maybe that's why the music was so good
I love it when Kurt gives those one word answers like he's on a gameshow.
The early interviews are just great. They are so funny and so laid back.
Please make this for the bleach era and the in utero era
1:22:21 Krist making Kurt giggle. So cute.
he was always making kurt laugh... they knew each other so well.
@@softli BFFs
Dave is was watching people ice skating. :)
I think Krist was always making sure that Kurt and Dave was good by bringing so many different conversations about just anything friends like that hard to find
@@gnecioj809 True. They are worth their weight in gold once found!
1991 was the peak of Nirvana including live performances. Many will point to the other years, but Kurt specifically said his "stomach pain" whether invented or not was just "beginning". In the interviews he's having fun, excited, after this even though the music was good he was jaded. Enjoy the 91 content for positive, the other stuff is great but dark.
trust me, not an invention. it often comes with creating art at that level
The chemistry this guys had was so awesome the fact that the get along so well and Kurt is not here anymore it breaks my heart rip Kurt so happy to be able to see so many different clips makes me feel like Kurt still here peace and love. Nirvana forever.
Your compilation has made what I'm trying to do so much easier. Thanks for gathering all of this in to one archive.
Hey Foxy how's Q?
the American Spy Fox 🦊🦊🦊🦊
knows more based facts, truths, about nirvana, kurt, courtney, frances, dave, krist, etc.On his RUclips channel. 100%
Rest in Peace Kurt.
"We might record in an airplane bathroom for the dynamic acoustics." LOL, Krist kills me. Fucking trolls.
Dave really brought the humbleness and silliness of Nirvana interviews right into the Foo Fighters when they do interviews. You can totally see the parallels of interview behaviour in both bands.
30:30 Kurt said : ...what? after the long speech of the Québécois interviewer
Krists logic:
>slack off, big deal
>hate when people are lazy on escalators
??? lol
lol hes talking about the disillusionment he feels about capitalist society.
loooool
he’s stoned lmao
He meant not to contribute to materialistic society, not about being physically or creatively lazy
They are trolling nonstop
Man Nirvana binges are my thing.. I might be feeling like shite right now and the world might be scary and shit and garbage with all these negative emotions on my day to day life but these interviews give me life.
Long Live Kurt Cobain and Long Live Nirvana.
Kurt in a ball gown tattling that Kirst wouldn’t wear a tux or buy him a corsage I was dying. 😂 And the dude interviewing them was like “um ok weird “ Kurt was so ahead of his time.
Kurt seemed so happy on some of these interviews.
He was happy. And he was murdered.

“Yikes”
It's as if as soon as Nevermind was released, Cobain just became jaded immediately.
30:03 his smile could light up the whole world.
@Melissa Le may i understand what u mean
Listening to these 3, all the tangents they go on during interviews, especially Krist, my God. I could listen to them ramble on forever, so funny.
there will never be a band as good as nirvana
I absolutely love krist novaselic
Essential band, with great personalities, I love those guys
"Punk rock to a child with adrenaline problems is like a dream come true"
James Hetfield gave the legions of metal the OK to like Punk Rock. Best line.
Definitely the best line! Cracked the others in the band up too 🤣🤣
Low key kinda accurate too lmao
05:30 Krist saying "We're only gonna be around for 70 years." and Kurt's look next to him is saying "no way, fuck that" 😕
91 was a good yr. they seem pretty happy here!
Totally agree!
I'd agree but that's the year I was born so 1991 wasn't a good year for me
1:15:25 Kurt: "There's one thing I've learned about rock and roll by being in this business for five or six years and that's to Use Your Illusion...(I or 2)" - jab at Gun n' Roses
This was like a documentary film. Great job.
Real Story..
so much work done for this compilation, amazing job!, the references from the interviews are so important,; congrats and thank you!!
Krist is like the mother speaking to the principal and Kurt is naughty bad boy
Naughty?
Give me an example from this video that exemplifies this observation, please. Seriously, I'm really obsessed with Nirvana, I want to know.
hey Mr. curmudgeon? can you add up all the Nirvana concerts and make it like 10 hours long?😀 I'd watch that over and over
love this interviews compilation from 1991 with the grunge kings nirvana. love them funny shit here. love kurt the grunge king always will.
Cornerstone Band maybe
+Recreator Band "Grunge is Dead".
They were so funny! Especially, Krist!!
Awesome compilation of interviews. Thanks for this.
05:43 , Kurt, "Yeah reproduce" :DD
I mean he did tho
Great compilation, much appreciated!!
"We're no Fugazi." "Dennis Hopper is our manager." So many hilarious gems here. And genuine thoughtfulness as well. Love these guys. Thanks Curmodgeon. :>)
For some reason I always read it as “cumdungeon” instead of “curmodgeon”
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched this
Thank you for this ! Peace !
And we all come from divorced familys
"It helps them to know wether they like it or not" THAT IS WHY THEY DONT WANT TO BE LABELED! They don't want people to pre judge them before they even hear the music. I don't blame Nirvana for getting frustrated when asked that question.
I love this so much. Thank you for uploading.
thanks for this work
Thank you for great interviews putting together. Kurt Nirvana is a legend.
The amount that the band talks about other bands just shows how much they didn't actually want the fame. They looked up to so many other people so much and they wanted the bands that inspired them to inspire others. They were never in this for the money, they loved the music. Kurt Cobain would hate the road that the music industry has gone down.
Didn't want it? Kurt did everything in his power to become famous. He was dead serious about his career and making it as a band. They practiced there songs for hours and hours every single day its all they did. They basically toured for 7 years straight building an audience.
Playing catch with vibes
Thank you for this. Nostalgic and beautiful 🔥
1:02:38. Hearing 'Polly' now, brings me right back to my teenage yrs....
Discovering Bands like Nirvana, and changing the rest of my life.
I love how when they're asked to describe their music Krist just starts drumming with a look like "you know what to do"
To hear Krist mention the Acropolis is great because Foo Fighters made history performing there in 2017.
I love Kurt cobain I could watch him all day long
Huh. I knew about the cough syrup but it only just clicked that technically they were pioneers of the sizzurp lol
also possibly my fave Nirvana moment ever is Krist’s parody of Lucille Ball a few mins later in the same interview *Rickyyy, waaahhh...* 👌🏼
This is BY FAR my favorite Nirvana interview with the whole band. 13:15
got to love Krist's special message to japan
*Basically every Nirvana 1991 interview*
Interviewers: LABEL YOURSELF GODDAMMIT WHAT MUSIC DO YOU PLAY!?
Kurt: well I play guitar and sing
Dave: I drum and sing sometimes....not all the time
Krist: well I'm a bass player but what is a bass player when you think about it?
Nirvana were great & funny 👍🏻
Great work!!
i love this tysm
Thank you for this compilation of interviews. Greatly appreciated it
THANKS dude, bro, homie. I needed this. was anout to make my own comp.. Good to know u made a killa one. Im'a gonna check this hot fire out now lol hagd. thanks again
Krists energy was always on form with Kurt's. They were brothers
38:57 funny kurt
11:40 Dave’s calf’s are insane
The three musakateers. So much talent.
Musakateers..?
I love that interview in Montreal - Kurt is so playful :)
It's 2/25/2020. Just taking a walk down memory lane.
Kurt face when krist mention shonen knife.. its adorable 2:51
Krist is always the most entertaining to listen too. Love all three, but Krist is the best in interviews
It’s a shame we ever got that 4th lp recorded at the Acropolis
"Doing the but" Dave is awesome
LOLOL my favorite part is the interview @ 24:40 - dude is trying to get them to explain the very obvious cover of "nevermind" and Krist's "oh right on! there you go - see I never thought of that!" gen x sarcasm at it's finest.
Thank you internet
Awesome comp
Just love these guys!!! They're so amazingly open an enjoyable!!!👄🍉🌞🦋👄😇✌️🎶♏
That dress: fabulous. 😎👗👑
Dave grohl has changed so much over the years.. it is fascinating and terrifying.. the man is a true success, but at what cost?
He has not changed much in the looks department..
Krist got to never fail of been the first shit to make me laugh
''play Bass and don't sing THANKS GOD''
good video man, i can see a lot of effort was put together on the editing process
80s Nirvana will always be my favorite chapter of theirs
This is gonna sound super weird but 90’s cameras interviews turns me on, it’s just great to listen to, like a podcast or something. And of you add these guys, 🙄❤️
Well in that case wanna come over to my place and watch some oldie but goodies?
Butch Vig.
(as a Corgan enthusiast -- this fan has been impacted by many studio projects with which he has been involved) The 'Nevermind' tunes obviously were created far before Vig's involvement.
- such an enjoyable collection here . . . thanks! ~
Curmudgeon please upload again 🙏🏾 u have the best nirvana content
new born baby, swimming underwater, trying to catch one buck. story of my life. one day..
Man, I wonder what he would have thought of those commercials with the old man and fishing with the $ in the store. You almost had it!! 🤣
It feels like that’s all we are born for it’s a very sad reality
I wonder if Krist still walks up every escalator he faces.
I miss Mtv....smh ..the good old days man..👍🏻🎸

LOL yeah, creepy as f
Where?!!! I tried looking but can't see it?!
Do you mean Courtney? Other comments are saying it's Courtney at 57:15
yeah i meant that sad pathetic excuse of woman
@@GothicXlightning okay, thank u!
To me this is proof he was in fact leaving her. I will never not believe she had him killed. Never.
Don't be silly.
These guys invented trolling back in 1991, before the internet even existed.
"Does changing to a major label change anything?"
"Yeah, I guess you have more freedom because you have more money to... you know, waste..."
What made me laugh a lot, it's how non-American interviewers would go asking overcomplicated questions about Nirvana, and the whole so-called "Grunge" scene (Seattle music); and they'll just go and answer whatever they want, or to pretend they understand the language of the reporters 😅.
Nirvana, as it was the case with most "Seattle Area" bands, just cared about doing some just good music, and earning some money from it at the same time. But being mainstream and famous was something they never envisioned too much. The same about their lyrics, they were just throwing some catchy lyrics on the table, but people out there was drawing up conclusions of things that were absolutely their own idea, not necessarily Nirvana's.
It was quite a funny time in "Rock n' roll" world (as the media usually depicts it) 😂
56:06 with a twist of lemon haha
