A judicious use of materials will always serve you well. Good planning is key. Laying out the various pieces on the floor helped me better visualize your plan, which is quite clever. I look forward to your next update.
Nice to see the plywood sheets being prepared for the sub roadbed, glad that you left the extra material on the ends ( overlap ) for the grade elevation as the track climbs. :) Let me know if you need a few extra fill pieces, I still have a few from the previous layout in the garage.
Thanks for noticing. The load has a 3D laser image of Stephenson's Rocket inside, the locomotive that started it all way back when. It came from a static display with an LED that lit it up in different colours. I placed it on the flatcar when I needed something to weigh it down so I could use it as a platform for my Akaso video camera. Just never removed it.
Good video as always, Sheldon. I liked the new camera angles, especially the view looking up as train crosses the trestle.
Thanks Bill!

Very true. Also remember to measure twice and cut once.

Thanks Joe. I think I'll have some leftovers of my own this time!
Keep an eye out for it in the next video 😊
All right, no one else seems to have taken the bait, what's with the depressed flatcar load???
