Viking vs. Mech Warrior (Gunpla) - Epic Diorama!

In this video, I make a diorama featuring a Vikings heroic stance against a huge rusty mech warrior that is actually my first ever Gunpla kit.
It's a bit weird, I know, but it's the beginning of an imaginary world I am trying to build where Vikings face of whatever you can think of, and probably often die as the result.
I used this project to learn more about weathering techniques and chipping effects and I must give credit to ‪@NightShiftScaleModels‬ who was (and is!) a huuuge inspiration.
I hope you like the video as much as I liked making it!

Thanks man! It’s a Sigma Art 18-35mm lens on a bmpcc 4k. The shallow depth looks cool, but painting 1:72 scale minis in focus is quite a challenge, hehe

YES! I love it when the crafting community picks up a Gundam kit. It's always so refreshing to see people who don't stem from the Gunpla community tackle their builds. For instance, I would have never thought of using welding lines to cover seam lines. I love it! Great build and thanks for sharing! I wonder how a viking would fare against a Xenomorph 🤔

This was my first ever Gunpla. Very fun putting it all together! Someone mentioned that welding lines wouldn’t work on a 1:1 scale Gundam, but in this smaller scale, I think it works. Xenomorph is definitely coming in the future 🤘
