    I did enjoy this, very much so. Thanks! I have the TA-20. Came here when searching the EC21-2F51 error. Looks like I may need another print head. I like that they now have refillable ink for the large format. I can only imagine the money I will save on one of these.

    3:00 Since the pattern of the ink inlet for each color is different, if you use a genuine ink bottle, you don't have to be afraid of plugging in ink that doesn't match the color.

    Link to 3rd party compatible ink refills? Seems they ditched cartridges just to replace it with a refill bottle that has a proprietary bottle top connection. I tried some listed as being compatible with GI-20 but the nozzle wouldn't connect properly to refill. Can't find any listed as compatible with TC-20 and official TC-20 refills from Canon are as much a rip off as cartridges.

    • @dennisthefatkid
      @dennisthefatkid  Год назад

      Hi Mr Ben, yes I agreed with your statement, they ditched cartridges just to replace it with a refill bottle. I never tried 3rd party compatible ink for Tc20 before, as original not that expensive in my country , GI20 is for G2000 / G3000 series, not the right model for TC20.Canon might void warranty if they founded 3rd party ink in tube. TC20 are using PFI-050 ink.

      Hi there, please check below :
      1. Make sure that is 50m A1 2” core roll paper
      2.make sure you have locked the paper as I show in the video
      3.push the paper to the edge until you hear the sound of beep
      4. Close all the cover when loading paper , tc20 unlike the old model, you may open top cover while loading paper … but tc20 have to close all the cover while loading paper

      Hmmm… hard to judge , in my personal opinion even the ink for TC20 is cheap my the ML is low. For TM5200 the ink is expensive but the ML is large, the best answer is to tracking the cost with “status monitor” it’s free from Canon
