guys as frustrating as our chosen hobby of golf is there is something really mellow and relaxing watching you two boys its great that no matter how we play its heads up and smile well done John and smithy looking forward to the final part ps I was preying smithy played sideways out that horrible bunker lol 😂😃👍👌👏
Hi there Darren it was so unlucky to land where he did and me waffling away in the background would be enough to put anyone off their game. In all honesty apart from the odd hole such as this Smithy played an absolutely fantastic round of golf especially on this, The Back Nine.
BIG OGGIE GOLF I think you both done fantastic my friend I love your commentary John each week I see imrovements in both your games gents when i had my handicap I went from a 28 to 14/15 in a year but was playing about 4 games a week which is really impractical in today's working world so keep up the great work I support you both in any way I can my friend 😃👍👌👏👏
It’s actually an interesting point... how many times do we as golfers feel we should always play out of the front of a bunker...? There is no rule to say we should do x
SmithyHereGolf lol my friend happens to as all the funny thing is lol when you hit the sand in frustration lol the occured you a penlty Lol 😂😂😂😃we all love and learn gents when we play I don't mind talking on my shot swing it never bothers me lol 😃😂😂👏
I have yet to have a club throwing moment but I am working on it ha ha. The problem is I was a champion discus and shot Putter in school and played in my county team so I hate to think how far I would throw one when I do lol. I may never see it again...
Hi Paul, I am more than happy to accept the blame for the bunker incident. Whilst I do try and add a commentary wherever I can I am still new to the game and did not realise the etiquette of bunkers. The shot starts before entering the bunker, not at the point of attempting the shot.
Just to clear it up bud, it’s something that me and John had a conversation about after, I’m all for commentating over a shot as in distance and club selection but I general rule in golf is that when somebody is setting up to their shot or doing a pre shot routine you don’t talk to them as it puts most people off, my lack of getting out of the bunker is my own lack of skill but we discussed after that there has to be a cut off point in which we stop talking and start playing 👍🏻
@@SmithyGolfs I take my hat off to you both for doing the videos. It just seemed a bit harsh on John who is always full of praise and encouragement for other golfers. Love the videos though, keep them coming .
In Smithy’s defence Paul he has never before had any issues like happened here and is always very gentle and supportive of me. I just need to know when I should talk or not. It’s a fine balance at times and I have learnt from this xxx
Don’t know if that’s a good comment or a bad one ha ha. No I am just a fat high handicapper trying my best but loving to showcase the great courses I get a chance to play. And I am far more gentlemanly and less opinionated than Mister Crossfield.
Good video, I have always been curious how your untimely commentary has never affected anyone until now, we have all been there where your already fustrasted at the situation ( not the person) but it gets lashed out towards them. There are several times when I've seen the other golfer already approached the ball then there's commentary. I commend you both for your patience towards each other and I think we all can learn about patience from you guys. Keep on improving and use your hips a lil more oggie and smitty hold that lag a smig longer. Keep up the good work
Hi there Mark and thank you for your comments as always. Both Smithy and I are still learning both the game and film making. I made the mistake of not knowing that when in a bunker the shot starts as you enter it and not when the shot is about to be made so I hold my hands up to that one. However I am trying to create videos in my own style that aren’t the same as everyone else out there so do like a commentary style whenever possible. I know I would get bored watching people hit ball after ball in silence or just with music in the background and people who watch my videos and ask to play on the channel know what to expect. I am not one of those people who swear and I always try to be polite and a gentleman at all times so I hope that also comes out in the videos. But of course there is a fine line between getting the balance right and playing at the same time. Both Smithy and I are still getting used to working together and never met before we started filming together on our respective channels so we are still learning as a friendship too. BUT we work things out very quickly and move on. That’s what genuine friends do...
Smithy look up Hamlet ads on RUclips as there are bound to be some. They were a thin cigar that people used to smoke. Usually after something went wrong to them... they are pretty funny

Must say that Smithy’s club went further than the ball did when playing out of that bunker. 😂
I am saying nothing lol
😂 try not to club throw very often but I guess we all have our head off moments

It’s all sorted out now mate, we discussed that once over a shot or doing a pre shot routine we don’t talk 👍🏻
Should have brought the Hamlets for Smithy 😋🏌️
Ha ha I don’t think Smirhy is old enough to remember those adverts but I may try and get the theme tune for if we ever need it again lol
No idea what the hamlets are 😂

Kenny McHardy 😂 That’s amazing! We should recreate it!
