There was just something so beautiful about how everything came together at the end of this race, just as we were calming down from the insane on track battle which ended the race we finally saw the fight we had been waiting for so long
Byron had such a recovery over the race. I thought he was contending for 30th place, but he ended up competing for the win once again after making up those 2 laps. All while making repairs on the right rear.

The greatest next gen race so far and best race of the season so far AND the greatest Kansas race of all-time? Hell yeah it was. This was most definitely a certified classic.
Mainly it was the racing, strategy was sprinkled in there, the drama was very entertaining, and the finish. If you knew what'd makes a great nascar race, you'd understand (not coming off rude btw)
I've been watching NASCAR for over 20 years , before Dale Sr. Crashed and died , Atlanta when Carl Edwards tried to pass Jimmie , just last year when Ross Chastain road the wall to advance , when there was nothing but American cars , when you move someone out of the way , what's so great about that ?
Hamlin clearly had the better car. BUT, if you can't pass after 10 clean laps of trying then dump him on the last lap- that's pretty cheap. Larson was loose, sure. But that had nothing to do with the contact. Hamlin's been doing this long enough; he knew what he was doing.
That doesn't look like a new move to me that looks exactly like what dale senior used to do in his day of racing as well as Jimmy Spencer, rusty Wallace, Darryl waltrip, Michael waltrip, And many more in my opinion.

THIS WAS THE TOP RACE OF THE YEAR! As a Cup fan, this had it ALL! Wild last lap finish, insane wild multi-lane racing all day, a driver fight after the race, several crash dramatics on the track, guys coming from multiple laps down to battle for good finishes, just on and on. End to end, this was the best Cup race so far in 2023.
