      what if i have only 7 electron for example Be2^+, how can i know the bond order?
      The right answer Should be 1/2 but i do not how to do it in your way.

    I have made a genralised formula for that
    Bo=3-(half the{no of electrons added or subtracted from 14)
    Applicablr to 6 to 20 electron sum

    easy way
    electron sum Bond order
    2. 1
    4 0
    6. 1
    8 0
    10. 1
    12. 2
    14 3
    16. 2
    18. 1
    and, if the electron sum comes in between , like for example 15 is the electron sum then the bond order will be 3+2/2 = 2.5 ( I.e taking the mean of electron sum of 14 and 16 ) .

    Sir isko to direct humlog is tarike se bana sakte hai
    Kyunki isoelectronic spicies ka bond order same hota hai isiliye direct valence electrons ko add karke bhi pata kiya jaa sakta hai ki bond order same hai ya nahi

    Sir this trick does not work for C032- molecule as the bond order is 1.3. Why is that and when do we know that this trick will not work?
