I still remember, back in 2004, when the drums at the start of the intro were heard everything stopped to watch the game! 2004's theme is so full of hype and energy, akin to that of the Champions League anthem, and thus why it is my favorite.

Don't know if anyone shares my view on this, but with the intros you can also track the technology develoment of the time. For example, the first 2 intros were very, very simple, the '92 one was a little better but still simple, then the 96 one at least used some animation. And you know that it was in the 90's were a tech revolution started, with the PS1, Windows 95, etc. Then from 2000 on, the intros also improved with every edition.
