I grew up in Switzerland, right near Bouchs airfield (which you flew over), and would see these planes fly over every day when I was a kid, along with Hawker Hunters. The Vampire was a WWII design - it was going into production just as WWII ended.
Thanks for taking a look at this plane! I've spent many hours in SwissMilSim's Venom, despite the outdated modeling and textures, because it flies great and looks just like something out of Star Wars. Their Morane D-3801 is a ton of fun to fly, also, although it shares the same shortcomings. It's a very maneuverable warbird with some nice character to it.
